Come on people we are all queen fans who cares if it’s Queen with all 4 members or Queen with just Brain and Roger and fan is a fan no matter what happens.
Yes I miss Freddie and so does everyone else but all this "I hate Paul Rogers" and "Queen isn’t Queen with out Freddie" is just getting out of control and very childish. Just think how Brain, Roger and John felt when Freddie dies it would have been like losing a brother to them and there know Freddie better then anyone of us on here so there would know Freddie wouldn’t of wanted Queen’s music to die with him.
I for one never got to see the real Queen so when I heard Brain and Roger along with Paul Rogers where going to tour I couldn’t believe it. It wasn’t Queen I know that but it was the closet thing to Queen I was ever going to get and I thank Brain and Roger and I thank Paul Rogers for excepting Brain and Roger offer to go out on tour with them he is a brave and talented singer
In fact, there is nothing chlidish about suggesting that the current "Queen" + Paul Rodgers album is no good and that Brian and Roger should stop using the name "Queen". Even music critics have panned the live album.
I'm so tired of hearing about it. People need to wake up and smell the fresh air. Welcome to reality, it is what it is and nothing is going to change it. And as for BPP (Bryan's Permed Poodle) just ignore him, he rode the short bus.

It got good reviews here in the UK. The US press still seem to have something against the band. Perhaps if they do a proper tour over there they'll win some more fans in the press. I don't think the CD comes close to capturign the live feel from the three concerts I went to.
As I said before, Paul Rodgers is an outstanding singer, way better than Freddie when it comes to live performances. As I said before, I'm aware that Dr Wig and Mr Sunglasses won't change their mind because "ten blocks in queenzones are complaining". Still, I've got the right to express my opinion and imho it's outright unethical from them to use the name of the band. I haven't ever seen any of the B+R+P concerts so I can't judge if they are good. Probably they are since the three of them (plus Danny, Spike and Jamie) are very good musicians and it's a good combination. All I say is: that's not Queen. It's not better, it's not worse. It's simply, not Queen.

Who gives a f*ck what "music critics" say. I personally have never thought "Oh I must not buy that CD because it got slated by...." I buy something because I want to.
And yes, all these threads about Queen + Paul Rodgers are a bit childish.

LOL! Since when has Queen ever been the darlings of the music critics?
So true... the critics used to hate Queen. I remember when "Play The Game" came out as a single. One critic said "It's another self-indulgent pop song from Queen" or something like that. Even so... Q+PR is not that good, but that's my opinion.
