Why wasn't Freddie on this CD ?
No dedications to him

THIS CD SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF THE SHELVES NOW!!!
REAL QUEEN FANS DON'T WANT IT!!!
Actually, Freddie features on this CD. He sings lead vocal in the first part of Bohemian Rhapsody and then alternates with Paul Rodgers in the end of the song. Not bad for a dead singer, right? ;)
Brian mentions Freddie briefly before Love of my Life and then dedicates the song to Freddie's mum, so it shouldn't be that much of a disgrace for anyone.
On the other hand, I don't consider myself a better or worse fan than anyone else in here but I actually did enjoy the album, having been to 4 shows myself in April. Nice souvenir from the tour. I wish Paul hadn't have problems with his voice midway through the tour because two of my favorite tracks of the album are precisely two of the ones he didn't perform in the gigs I went to: Wishing Well and Feel Like Making Love.
I know this guy's not to be taken seriously (BPP) but it's the first time I respond to one of his topics and he seems to be like an anti-hero figure you just love to hate, hehehe :).
Take it easy...

Freddie's voice also can be heard during the intro to A Kind Of Magic.
But actually I think they could put some lines about Fred in the sleeve. Greg Brooks mentioned even, but no any thanks 'for being with us for many years' to John and to Fred...
The cd isn't really very good, is it?
I admit it was a nice tribute band to see in concert, but the album wasn't even worth listening all the way through!
The only decent songs on the CD are Bo Rap and
Love of my Life ,which Bri sings I believe.
The rest is indeed rubbish.
Buy the DVD Live at Wembley- then you will see and hear the real Queen.
I was one of the first one to have it and it's brilliant.... Paul very good and he takes the song to another level... The Magic has done it for me....
If you think it's rubbish just give it away to ppl who do like, I am quite sure you would have some candidates who would apreciate...
i think the cd is very good
some songs aren't good (AOBTD and IWTBF) because Paul's voice, but i like the album
Some othe songs are very good, and for me, being one person who did'nt went to any concerts, because i live in argentina, the cd is great, and i hope Q+PR come to Argentina, because that will be the colsest i'll be to Queen, despite for me, Queen died in 1991
Buy The Album...it worths every cent you pay
I like the cd. I have a lot of great memories when I listen to this cd and I am really looking forward to the dvd.
Highlights for me :
- Reaching out
- Tie your mother down
- Fatbottomed girls
- Crazy little thing called love
- Say it's not true
- Feel like making love
- Let there be drums
- Radio gaga
- All right now
- Last horizon
Minus points :
- I want it all
- Another one bites the dust
Oh look, another one...
I am a real Queen fan and I do want it
I personally like Another One Bites The Dust. Paul sounds a lot like Freddie on this track, especially the Wembley concert.

I don't think I'll be buying it. I went to Hyde Park, and while it was a nice day out, it wasn't close to being queen by any stretch of the imagination. The first half was pretty good - as good as an excellent queen tribute band - but the second half generally was cringeworthy, with the ultimate low point being Chunky's bloody awful karaoke version of Radio Gaga - a song which I detest anyway, but even that was made to sound worse than usual. I would have regretted it if I hadn't gone to at least one gig, but if they tour again, I don't think I'll bother.
John had the right idea, bow out gracefully, count your cash and pop up every now and then on holiday in Spain. I need to find that man and buy him a beer.

Performance was kind of... avarage, Even few days before they played better
The audience was real crap- the worst I've seen on tour... You can hear it during 39- compare it with i.e. brixton and it doesn't exist...
I agree as well that the audience isn't very strong on the CD.
But I think they also made it worse by lowering the audience mikes in the mix.
Hopefully the DVD's DTS 5.1 soundtrack will do the concert justice.
Hmmm, true - it wasn't their best show. But unfortunately, they had to pick one show to tape, they can't take Hi-Def equipment with them every night (shit, they're rich but even that's pushing it) and it just happened to be that one.
I have got to say, I thought Brian May wouldn't be able to do LOML justice but I love the way he does it. It's very sad with the empty stool next to him :(
