To be honest, I was hoping they'd change the design considering all the harsh feedback the CD got... or is that just me being an arrogant fan?! :-P
I don't think its arrogant my freind. What fucks me off totally is the booklet is basically a rehash of the programmes as well.
Thats just lazy. How hard is it to put other pictures in??????
C'mon guys
Relax..It is NOT the official cover..it is a fake version.
The official cover will have the text: 2DVD SET printed on the front . Just like Live At Wembley, Greatest Video Hits and On Fire DVD SETS. :-)
The ROTC DVD will also include massive bonus material, and it will somehow be printed on the front!
I am quite sure this is fake, and we will get to see it on brianmay.com or queeonline when it is ready!

Why would it have that text, if it's not going to be two discs? :/
Nah, that sleeve can't be real.
The text at the bottom gives it away. I don't think the real thing eventually will be a lot different, but the text just is not right. That's bootleg/fan-language.
Oh, and it SHOULD be a 2-disc. There is supposed to be an extra disc with bits and pieces from Budapest, Lisboa, Cologne, Arnhem and Hyde Park plus a behind the scenes-docu and fan-interviews.
Unless... they changed their minds last-minute...

Err... Wouldn't that fit nicely with the amateurish overall design?
Maybe they just didn't want to spend a few thousand £'s on a professional, and decided to have some relative "design" it?

Arnhem? yeah.
I'm so happy I mean the gig I attended LIVE.
THis is so awesome :D.
In Arnhem, everything from Say It's Not True up to and including Radio Ga Ga was recorded professionally.
Probably also rock you and champions.
If it or some of it will eventually be released is step two though...
The text on the lower part looks amateurish but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the actual cover. The CD issue has this promotional thing for the DVD, one small paper with the cover (Don't have it with me so I can't check if it has the same text) and it's the same as the CD, just cropped into the shape of the DVD box and with the "flash" behind the Q+PR words a little bigger and covering a bigger part of the sleeve (including the view of the seating area of the venue).

If this is true, that there will be bits from different concerts, that's great!
Just hope they won't change their minds!!
And the cover art must be fake, specially the text is an indicator..

Take a look at that picture in amazon... If you crop that 353 x 500 pixel image into 353 x 353 pixels, you will see that it's exactly the same lousy image as was used on the cd!
At least to me that tells two things:
First of all, this IS the genuine dvd cover. How else would amazon get their hands on the exactly same image, before it was cropped into the cd size?
Secondly, QP is spending even less on the design than I imagined. They didn't ask that relative of theirs to "design" two covers as cheaply as possible. They only asked for one, and cut that into the appropriate sizes. :I
