I recently listened to My Love is Dangerous for the first time in quite a while, and found myself finding new bits in there that I had not noticed. I always considered it just filler on the Mr. Bad Guy album, but rated it much higher today. What's your verdict: killer or filler?
I really like this song, it is absolutely not a filler to me.
Although I must admit that I think I like the '92 rock-mix better than the original reaggae-like version.
I do like how Mr Bad guy can go from dance and suddenly, there's this reggae thing happening. I think it's killer. I'm especially drawn to the part where Freddie sings "fire dance for me" and the snare pounds once for dramatic pause. Hella good times! If you want to talk about fillers, just ask about Greatest Hits III...
Don't really care about the original reggae version. Jeff Lord-Alge mix (with heavy guitars) kicks ass though. Just wish it was Brian doing the guitar parts and Roger doing all those screams. That would be awesome!
