| deleted user 16.09.2005 14:13 |
Today, I went to ebaumsworld and saw the following page: link Now, who else finds The Miracle cover disturbing? Not me, thats for sure. So what do you think is the most disturbing album/single cover queen have (This includes live albums, and bootleg stuff) In my opinion its the "Queen Rocks" Album cover. Thats pretty F*ed up in my opinion... |

I just find that cover very bizarre and NOT in a good way, almost scary. I am sure the band did not mean it to come off that way, and wanted a collage/fusion of all of their faces...but it did not come off looking like it has that intention. It is creepy to say the least and I never liked it. |

i would say the miracle and i guessed that is what is was. i dont like that cover it doesnt look quite right to me, it does look kind of creepy |

I fail to see why the hell this cover would be considered "creepy". If you want to see an album cover that really shouldn't have been released, check out the album "Virgin Killer" by The Scorpions. I'm not gonna post a link because that could bring me in trouble but you should find it when typing "scorpions virgin" in Google. |

I dont find it creepy at all i find it rather funny, split heads. |

That people have eyes in the back of theur heads? Or...that you are experiencing a VERY bad trip/drunken night...of ultra hallucenagenic proportions? It's THAT kind of creepy. |

I'd have to say "Return of the Champions" tops my list of bad album covers - although the CDs fucking rock! |

I just found this link, link, and some of these covers are hilarious. That Scorpions one has to be the worst of all itme. |

The Miracle cover is one of the weirder ones in the world. The whole faces-fusing-together thing is IMHO spiffy. And I parodied it for my website (just click to link. EDIT: Just went to the link. Nice to see VH's Balance on the near-misses. |

that cover shows unity of the band in original way i see it like that and i see nothing wrong or spooky about that but i guess it´s just me |
| mercuryqueen 16.09.2005 17:53 |
The Miracle is disturbing? You guys need to go see some horror movies or something. I think the more disturbing ones are sheer heart attack with the band lying around after a possible orgy or Greatest Hits III with Freddies ghost (in essence) looking down at the other band members. So yea... they obviously dont pay much attention to queen. Those all looked like records they picked up at the quarter bin of the thrift store... minus The Miracle of course... dont know how that god mixed in. So yea... |

| Mr.Jingles 16.09.2005 23:35 |
The 'Sheer Heart Attack' cover is far more disturbing. At least from the point of a straight male is not a very good sight to see 4 barechested guys laying together and covered in oil. |

Yeah, I have to agree that the "Miracle" album cover is kind of disturbing. It looks like some seriously mutated siamese twins. I think that it is really ugle. I can't imagince why anyone would like it. |
| AmeriQueen 17.09.2005 03:58 |
No question for me! None at all! The News of the World album cover my older sister had used to scare the living shit out of me. I had nightmares about that fucking thing! I could see The Miracle disturbing some, but not me. Mostly because I am a web/video editor and quite an expert with Photoshop. For 1989 The Miracle is the shit. For today, it looks cheaper than would be expected. |

| starsnstripes 17.09.2005 04:55 |
There's nothing wrong with the Miracle cover...that I feel is really original and cool...but the Kind of Magic cover, well that's a different ball-game altogether...kind of weird with the crazy cartoons of queen. I would agree that the Queen Rocks cover is strange too, especially the drawings inside it. |
| deleted user 17.09.2005 06:08 |
C.P=Child porn. And frankly, I agree, sheer heart attack is freaky, four guys, barechested (One with crap hair extensions) lying down together, all shiny. When I first saw that cover I thought that those were plastic dolls of the band, not the real members. But I still say, queen rocks is totally screwed up, I mean its a drum exploding, and a phoenix attacking the other star signs, kinda creepy, like from drug induced highs or something ¬_¬ |
| Missy May 17.09.2005 08:37 |
i think it rocks. News of the World freaked the shit out of me!! I had nightmares about it the first time i saw it! roger and john falling through the air like they were dead, brian and freddie covered in blood. It would freak anyone out! |
| Freddie F 17.09.2005 14:00 |
I always found this cover of bad taste. Not having melted all their heads would have been okay or they should have swapped the album cover and the "I Want It All"-single cover, which is basically the same picture, just unprocessed. But it's only my opinion... |
| goinback 17.09.2005 18:49 |
Yeah "A Kind Of Magic" is also on that site under bad album covers after I looked around more: link Never liked that or the Miracle personally (I wasn't sure why Queen would make an album cover destined to look dated in a few years). |

You're all wrong. Very wrong. The most disturbing Queen album cover is Hot Space. How the record company (let alone Queen) let that one out is really, REALLY quite disturbing... |
| deleted user 18.09.2005 07:57 |
How is hotspace disturbing? Its just the band members faces coloured, not at all disturbing |
| Queenfred 19.09.2005 01:05 |
Ahh Night Lord, now I find YOU disturbing. Start with the classics- Monty Python say, and then work your way up to the brilliant Ross Noble and then re-read my post. Really, for an English lad, I would have expected better. |

Queenfred wrote: You're all wrong. Very wrong. The most disturbing Queen album cover is Hot Space. How the record company (let alone Queen) let that one out is really, REALLY quite disturbing...Yes, totally, the colours are so flashy that it really makes me puke |

The cover for 'The Miracle' looks like if the 4 members of Queen were put together on the telepod from the movie 'The Fly' and transported to a telepod that merged the 4 bodies together. |
| Bob-Plant 20.09.2005 09:44 |
I don't know how creepy or disturbing it is, but I never really liked the "Jazz" cover. I've heard that Roger got the idea from some graffiti he saw on the Berlin Wall, but for whatever reason, it struck me as uninspired. The poster on the inside, for 14 year-old at the time...now THAT was inspired! |

Bob-Plant wrote: The poster on the inside, for 14 year-old at the time...now THAT was inspired! Not even that. A lot of those girls had saggy and droopy boobs. Not very attractive in my book. |
| deleted user 20.09.2005 11:09 |
news of the world it is rather creepy dears!! what do u think |
| *goodco* 20.09.2005 11:31 |
if we're moving from disturbing to creepy, then 'Fun In Space' is by far the most creepy, and says so on the cover.... |
| Bob-Plant 20.09.2005 13:22 |
Mr. Jingles- You're correct, many of the boobs were not great. But again, at 14...ANY tits (other than family) were something to behold! Besides, did you ever see the video clip of Roy Thomas Baker talking about having to replace all seats on the bikes that had been loaned to them? Hysterical. Had I heard that story at 14 (or sadly even recentley lol), someone would've had explain it to me. |
