Rumor also had it that David Bowie was gonna do Under Pressure at the Last Queen Gig Ever at Knebworth, but he didnt show up then, so why would he show up now?
Wasn't he supposed to show up at the '88 New York gig as well? I remember some sort of review of this show. The author was kind of disappointed about Bowie not showing up.
On a more serious note: would be great to have him performing with Queen for real. However, I think Paul voice doesn't match too well with Bowie's.
With Freddie there was the contrast in voices witch really had some magic. The loud/clear voice of Freddie vs. the "softer" voice of Bowie.
What about the Foo's Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins I mean they have a break in their tour during that time. They will be at the DCU center here in Worcester, Mass the day before the Queen + PR show in NJ and then their next tour date is October 25...hmmm I wonder?
He's currently working on a new album, so I'm sure that him 'popping in' for under pressure would be highly absurd considering of the work and time it takes to making an album.
But it would be hot if he did.
Cheers
