Someone needs to pardon Mark Fuhrman. Seriously. Yes, the man made a mistake, but he acted honorably in the Simpson case and was only doing his job to the best of his ability. The defense had no right to bring his past into the trial and destroy his life. I'm glad that he has managed to work his way back up by writing books, including at least one New York Times Bestseller. |

"No, if I would have arrested the son of a bitch, I would have killed him. If I ever see the son of a bitch and we're alone, I would kill him...If there's nobody except him and me, dead men tell no tales." "Most real good policemen understand that they would love to take certain people to the alley and just blow their brains out..." "We stopped the choke because a bunch of Niggers have a bunch of these organizations in the south end, and because all Niggers are choked out and killed -- twelve in ten years. Really is extraordinary, isn't it?" "Westwood is gone, the niggers have discovered it." "There is going to be a massacre in the future and they know that. There is the Rolling 60's, nigger group they went into a sporting good store and stole 50 Uzis, 3,000 rounds." "First thing, anything out of a nigger's mouth for the first five or six sentences is a fucking lie. That is just right out. There has got to be a reason why he is going to tell you the truth… You choke him out until he tells you the truth. You know it is kind of funny. But a lot of policemen will get a kick out of it." "We basically get impatient with him being so fucking stupid. Which I thought he was. So I just handcuffed him and went the scenic route to the station. We searched him again and found the gun. Went over to the baseball diamond and talked to him. When I left, Dana goes, 'No blood, Mark.' 'No problem, not even any marks, Dana.' Just body shots. Did you ever try to find a bruise on a Nigger? It is pretty tough, huh?" "When he gives me his driver's license, I'll just rip the fucker up." "I had 66 allegations of brutality… We grabbed a girl that lived there… Grabbed her by the hair and stuck a gun to her head, and used her as a barricade. Walked up and told them: 'I've got this girl, I'll blow her fucking brains out, if you come out with a gun.' Held her like this -- threw the bitch down the stairs… I must have about 3000 or 4000 pages of internal affairs investigations out there." Which of these statements he made and not even used at the trial, all caught on tape, do you want him pardoned for? One off hand comment can be considered a mistake, this many comments makes him a racist asshole. The defence had every right to bring this up in court. The only person who destroyed his life was himself - when he opened his mouth. |

These weren't conversations that happened to be recorded, they were PURPOSELY recorded, as ideas for dialogue in a screenplay. They were NOT Fuhrman's own personal views. Second of all, even if they WERE Fuhrman's personal views, we have a lovely thing here in this country called the First Amendment. You can't destroy someone's rights (he cannot vote, hold public office, or own a firearm or any other weapon because he is now a felon, which is B.S.) because you don't agree with what they've said. Also, even if Fuhrman were running around in a white sheet on weekends, that doesn't mean he planted evidence that he couldn't have planted to frame Simpson. Simpson is a murderer, plain and simple, and the character-assassination Bailey imposed on Fuhrman was just a cheap tactic aimed at prejudicing the jury and asking them, "What side are you on, white or black?" All, I remind you, aimed at getting a double-murderer acquitted. No matter what Fuhrman said, I'll tell you what he DIDN'T do - beat the shit out of a defenseless woman and then stalk her down after she left him, and slaughter her and a *real* man who had enough balls to try to protect her. That was Bailey's client. |

Typical ultra conservative, always standing up for racist people.
Just like Barbara Bush comments on how thousands of people trapped in a stadium with no place to go, without food, or water were doing very well:
Barbara Bush said: What I'm hearing, which is sort of scary, is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality. And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this is working very well for them. What Barbara Bush REALLY meant to say was: God forbid all those niggers moving to Texas. I don't want to have any of those damn coons near my sight. I say, keep all them niggers locked inside the arena. Besides, they're all poor anyways, so for anyone who cares they're probably doing better there than before. |

He simply made dialogue for characters in his screenplay that utilized this word. Cop movies are certainly no stranger to language like that. If you remember "Dirty Harry", there's a line of dialogue: De Georgio: Harry hates everybody. Limeys, micks, hebes, fat dagos, niggers, honkies, chinks, you name it. Gonzales: How does he feel about Mexicans? De Georgio: Ask him. Harry Callahan: Especially spics. Does this mean the people who made Dirty Harry are racists? In these tapes Fuhrman is heard using racial slurs, as well as admitting using these slurs against minority suspects in order to threatening them. As far as I'm concerned cops are fobidden of using curse words and racial slurs against any kind of suspect. Cops are only limited to raise their voice at suspects and urge them to follow orders. link Once again Sarajane it looks like you're more full of crap than a manure management company. |
