Just wondered, is Leroy Brown a real person? Cos Freddie does tend to write songs about real people like Marie Antoinette and Lady Gudiva...and listening to the song makes him sound very real. Plus I know a lot of people are big fans of that particular song...:)
When did Freddie write A SONG about Marie Antoinette or Lady Godiva... okay I'm being an ass but he mentioned them he didnt write a song about them is my point hon.
Well, queen have, anyway...killer queen was about marie antoinette specifically, and lady godiva was mentioned in don't stop me now...other people have been mentioned though.

Um, Killer Queen is about a high-class call girl, as most know. Marie Antoinette was the queen of France. Besides using the phrase "Let them eat cake", the two have nothing in common.
The Leroy Brown that Jim Crocey sang about was a big black dude that Jim met while at Fort Jackson here in South Caronlina in the U.S. of A. I saw a live clip of him on VH1 Classic with him talking about this.
