Hey guys, I just joined a band, and in a bid to gain some publicity *coughs* Queenzone is the new target.
We're pretty crap, but I figure what the hell, and I'd rather people saying;"Man that was horrible" than nothing at all. link
So let me know what you think, I'm on vocals on Hit By A Bus and Blue Room, but the other guy in the band also sings, we just happened to finish my songs because they were less complicated. And please be nice because I know someone's gonna freak.
Well, to be honest I like both tracks. But it's because they're so terrible. So bad that they're good for comedic reasons, you know?
If you guys want to be taken seriously, you need a lot of work. The guitar playing isn't confident. It sounds like you're playing for the first time and playing too slow to find the right notes. So lots of practice is in order there..
The drum sound was nice and steady on Blue Room. When it starts it made me think of Fleetwood Mac's 'The Chain'.
The vocals.. I dunno. They work for this type of music I suppose. Not really what I'd call singing..
Thanks for the critique, it really does help, and I really do take it into consideration, plus I can't really feel any animosity towards you guys because I don't know you, when if I showed one of the songs to my friends and they didn't like it, I'd feel angry at least. I will take consideration with what you have said, and yes, I am a little bit short sided on my guitar playing, but then again, I've only been playing for 4/5 months so I think it's just beginners nervousness. And Bob, don't feel sorry, I'm the one that sucks. LOL.
Thanks guys.
