... How dare they! How dare Brian and Roger call themselves Queen without John Deacon. C'mon, people! You're My Best Friend, Misfire, I Want To Break Free, Another One Bites The Dust. How can they pretend that anyone will accept them with Danny Miranda replacing them. Geex, leave it alone. Deacon retired, it's over!
P.S. Obviously I am just joking. It would be funny if just once someone did bitch about the Deacon-less Queen. It would be a nice change from the Freddie whines.
Well it is a shame he didn't go on tour with them, he's just as much a part of Queen as Brian and Roger.
And you have raised a good point, why is nobody upset and distressed that they're touring without John? lol
I was very upset. I thought maybe his kids would say c'mon dad, you should play, etc. I was especially mad when I got tickets to Continental and they are on the John Deacon side of the stage!!

CAN WE DROP THE TOPIC OF THE TOUR ALREADY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I agree, although there is one aspect of the tour that needs to be stressed and talked about. What we need to focus on is getting an official word on a North America tour in the Spring. I want to hear about Queen + PR coming through my hometown.
I think it because we have a little more respect for Johns decision. He didnt want to do it without Freddie and i think that is awesome. His philosophy is when Freddie died, Queens live days died with him. It just isnt Queen without Freddie, no matter how you look at it. Its a shame he didnt go, and it would be awesome if we could see Deaky live, but i respect his decision for calling it quits. Let him live the existence he wants to live. He did his part with Queen and earned his right to call himself a member of the greatest band of all time. God bless ya Deaky!
really I think most of us just respected John's decision and I think we should respect Brian and Roger's decision to Tour..........and I think we should respect Freddie's family and his legacy decisions as I'm sure if he wanted Brian and Roger to never play Queen music ever again in their lives and to never have a chance to bring Queen's music into stadiums for hundreds of thousands of fans....and to never enjoy playing the music they created together, then he would have said so.....obviously he left everything in what he felt was capable hands....and there you have it....
QUEEN ROCKS FOREVER!! CAN'T WAIT FOR QUEEN+PAUL RODGERS TO PLAY NORTH AMERICA!
No one cares, because he's John Deacon. He wrote five or so good songs and played a bit of bass? If the guy showed some backbone and said something interesting now and again, I'd like him more. Heck - if he'd just SING sometimes I'd like him more. (Case in point, Ringo Starr was the least good singer in the Beatles, but he still gave it a shot and I enjoy listening to the songs he sung anyway).
Seriously. How am I supposed to miss someone who's practically silent, and in interviews says things like "I have no plans". YAAAAAWN.
I'm sure he's a wonderful person - in private. But I'm not going to lose sleep over someone as boring as him saying 'I don't want to tour'.
