They'll be at the Meadowlands on October 14th.. Do y'all think a guest appearance is likely on the 16th?
Wish I was gonna be in NJ a day earlier, so I could see their show!
I would lay odds that a guest appearance by Brian and or Roger at The Foos' show, and/or a guest appearance by Dave grohl and/or Taylor Hawkins 2 days later at the Queen show is a good bet.

:-( Wish I could be there. Ahh..well.. Maybe they will add some dates around here.
I think it would be more likely for Brian to show up at the Foo show... Could do Have a Cigar..;-)

I agree, and ''Have A Cigar'' or ''Tired Of This'' would be cool. Brian shows up unaaanounced for lots of artists on tour from Ian Hunter this past year, to Guns N' Roses in 1992.
If the Queen+Paul Rodgers Tour is already stateside and chilling at their hotel a day or so ahead of time, you can bet he will be there, jamming with Dave and Taylor...which also ceratinley wouldn't hurt some great advance PR buzz a day or so before Q+PR's show.

I'm such an idiot! All afternoon I'm trying to decide if I can get over to the UK to see the Foo Fighters' second show at Earl's Court on December 18 because I will miss them at The Meadowlands on Friday, October 14 since I will be in New Jersey on Friday, October 14 right near . . . The Meadowlands! D'OH! Sometimes the brain is a bit slow on the uptake.
I am soooooo there! Anyone else going?
I doubt the Foo's would show up at one of Queen's concert (maybe only to watch at least).
However, even though I doubt the Foo's would have time to fit it into an ever growing set-list, since it's happened before, I wouldn't put it past Bri and Rog getting on stage to join for Now I'm Here or something like that, and Tired Of You is a permanent number in the set list now. Also, Taylor (and Dave) talk ALOT about Queen in interviews nowadays, especially Freddie... I guess anything could happen, given Bri and Rog have now got the performing bug again.
Just so you know that Ticketmaster presale wackiness is not limited to Queen, when I received my presale notification with time and code for the Foo Fighters gig at The Meadowlands/CAA on October 14th, it said tickets onsale at a specific link at 9:00 am Eastern time on August 25. Catlike I pounce on the link at the designated time only to find that Ticketmaster site says the presale doesn't start until 10:00. Was an hour late to work because of this, when I could have arrived at the normal time with plenty of time to actually WORK before taking a brief timeout to spaz out over ticket madness.
Will likely post back in 10 minutes with a venomous rant damning Ticketmaster and all on-line ticket brokers again, after encountering a mysterious on-line "telephone" icon when the link becomes active, and then receiving the "sold out" notification, only to later find that plenty of awful seats were available all along. And so it goes . . .
Sorry to disappoint, but no rant today.
Actually got decent seats. Rejected the first set--Section 126--tried for GA but was DENIED, tried again for lower level, and got Section 121, which would have been perfect for a Queen gig, second block, lower level, Brian's side of the stage. All in all, not a bad experience. A little glitchy in the beginning . . . the link changed to say "Find Tickets" but the next page said that tickets weren't on sale yet, and after a few minutes the familiar order page came up. Not quite the frenzy that the Queen and U2 ticket acquisition experience was.
