I no Mrs jer loved it and thanked Brian and Roger so you see Mr poodle even Freddie Mercurys mum loved it, it shows that its a great show and did Freddie proud! QUEEN AND PR ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to make it CLEAR I am not taking your side, and I am not taking BPP side.
I am stating an objective opinion.
I am very aware that Freddie's Mum, Jer, has openly approved of the tour, and even made a guest appearance at the Sheffield concert for CD/DVD.
But...please do not speak for Freddie one way or the other.
Many parents, spouces, etc of deceased performers give their blessing or authorization, and yes, maybe the deceased performer would have approved, or maybe they would have not.
Maybe Freddie would be thrilled about this tour, or maybe he would not.
Not being cynical, but Jer and Kashmira DO get some royalties from the tour obviously, plus they get their 15 minutes of fame...while Brian and Roger get that extra Freddie Mercury ''stamp of approval'', (via his Mother and Sister), that creates good will and PR to the fans.
Again...I just want to make clear...
That Freddie may HAVE indeed approved of this tour.
But please do NOT base your lack of FACTS which none of us have, as to Freddie's actual opinion and approval or non-approval of this tour, or of any project that Brian and Roger have done on behalf of the Queen name since Freddie's passing,..
... as Freddie is deceased and cannot speak for himself,...
..based on his Mother's or Sister's approval.

Arlene R. Weiss:
its_a_hard_life did not say anything about Freddie liking or disliking the tour. She simply said that it "did Freddie proud", which I agree with. Freddie was as much a part of the show I saw, as Paul Rodgers.
I'm totaaly with Arlene on this one.
Freddie is dead, and who REALLY knows what Freddie's family thinks.
What are they going to say??
"This sucks ass??"
C'mon, they have to remain proper for the public.
Since some of us are going to speculate things such as "Well, I for one know that Freddie's mom thought it was the greatest thing ever".
I will speculate myself.
Freddie and Roger Taylor were very close, Kashmira knew Roger very well... and Kashmira has said that Roger has told her before that "Freddie was the glue that kept Queen together, and the creative force behind the music".
Personally, this is strictly my opinion...
but I gather from interviews that Kashmira always thought of Queen as her brothers band, and if this tour would have never happened that would be ok with her.
