Now if I had to guess, I would have this BPP down as roughly 8 to 15 years old (sincere apologies to the fans on this site of that age but trust me, you are a lot more mature). But if I recall from an old thread, I am sure he is in his 40's! For God's sake, what an arsehole! As Freddie would say 'He is talking from here'. And yes, you know where 'here' is! Basically, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, no matter how pathetic it may seem to some people but when that person keeps on and on and especially about something that is so shit and also when it involves trying to convince people that he has a valid point, then it is time for that person to be banned! As it has been said for about a zazillion amount of times, there will never be another Freddie Mercury and nobody but nobody will ever replace him. They are not trying to do that!!! I can respect if you don't like Paul Rodgers but you really have not got a clue if you don't think Paul Rodgers has an excellent voice! At the end of the day, if a 'mature' adult acts the way you do, then God help your children (if you have any). Then again, I cannot see you being married or have any children, as you are such a narrow minded, stuck in your ways prick! So Queen died in 1991??? Funny that, I thought it was Freddie Mercury who sadly passed away! So I take it you disagree with not only this fantastic tour but also the tribute concert, the 'Made In Heaven' album, the 'No-One But You (Only The Good Die Young)' single, the 'Queen Rocks' album and the 'We Will Rock You' show? I mean, Heaven forbid, it just isn't Queen, because there is no Freddie Mercury!!! I would love nothing more, than for Freddie to be alive and still BE A PART OF QUEEN. But he is dead! You are one of the most stubborn idiots if you will not even try going to one of the concerts and see for yourself what it would be like. I was fortunate enough to see Queen and Paul Rodgers at Cardiff C.I.A and at Hyde Park. The two concerts were fantastic! You had Brian May and Roger Taylor playing as if age had not caught up with them and Paul Rodgers voice was excellent. After both concerts, I said to my girlfriend that seeing as it was so good, just imagine what it would have been like with Freddie. Of course it would be better but this is the closest thing we will ever get. Yes, we have memories of Freddie and his performances/concerts and they will never go away. But is your brain capacity that small that you cannot create new memories and that you are so far up your own arse that you act like a spoilt child and will not even give the concert a chance???!!! Brian May and Roger Taylor was part of a band called Queen, just like Freddie Mercury. Freddie Mercury was not Queen but a part of a fantastic group called Queen. I also believe Freddie quoted that they would be together until they died. Does the song 'The Show Must Go On' mean anything to you? Brian and Roger are musicians, so why shouldn't they go out there under the name of Queen, when that was their name in the first place? I know you will probably come back with a pathetic response like, 'Queen is not Queen without Freddie Mercury' and to an extent, yes, I agree but in the context of that Queen will never be as good without Freddie Mercury but as a true fan, of course you would recognise that but how can you justify that Queen died in 1991, when it was just one person who actually died? That is like saying every time a football club, say Manchester United, loses a player, then that football club can no longer and is no longer Manchester United? I mean, I love Wayne Rooney as a player and I would hate to see Manchester United lose him but would that stop me supporting Manchester United or them changing their name? No, of course it wouldn't. Did I ever want Freddie to die? Of course not but do I want Queen to exist in any shape or form? Of course I do! I mean, come on, get a grip on reality here and bloody grow up!!! I will end by sayin |

Yes we know, we've read that post about 10 times anyway, without you posting an entire new topic. What I want to know is why people are calling themselves "Bryans Permed Poodles" and "Brians Permed Poodles". Copying him will just make him think he is popular and encourage him to spam this site more. Why hasn't he been banned?? |
Weave 23.08.2005 14:03 |
People aren't copying him, it's just him with mutiple alias. Strange person he is. |
its_a_hard_life 23.08.2005 14:14 |

Tero 23.08.2005 14:31 |
Yes... We all know the true Queen fans are interested in Brian's guitar solos, and Roger's great looks. You can't be a real fan without those two! |
its_a_hard_life 23.08.2005 14:34 |
LOL |

Newbie here to the zone! I have been watching this permed a-hole's posts for sometime now. Glad to know that there are some even-minded folks out there to contradict what this little mouse is saying. I know some folks would say he has a right to say what he is saying...freedom of speach doesn't mean we have to listen to you. Just had to weigh in. On another topic, does anyone know which member of Queen wrote "was it all worth it" from "Miracle?" or was it indeed a group effort...love that freakin' song!!! Thanks for providing such a great sight, and forum!!! |
rockit22 23.08.2005 18:35 |
I think we have all figured out that mr. poodles intension is to ruin the name Queen+PR in front of thousands of fans. NOT very clever!! I am advising you to act normal or leave this site now. |
rockit22 23.08.2005 18:57 |
I am just giving you an advise mr. poodle, it is not a threat. I think we all want to have a friendy site here, and discuss the music of Queen or whatever. So don't try and ruin this with your disgusted propaganda everywhere! We have heard your opinion, but don't come up with the same shit over an over again. |
Sharon G. 23.08.2005 21:08 |
I consider myself a huge Queen fan and have seen them twice in the 70's and 80's. And I mostly agree with BPP on Q+PR. True , I have not seen Q+PR. But I do not like this group using the Queen name. I don't care if they can use it legally or not. It's a moral issue and an insult to Freddie and John. Queen was Freddie, John, Bri and Roger. No Freddie, No John,No Queen. Sorry it's over for Queen. Will this new group be a great rock concert? Sure. Will it be Queen? Nope. |
deleted user 23.08.2005 21:13 |
sharon, i dont want them to keep going under the name queen either, but tell me your not still supporting bpp after the shit hes posted? dont let him inspire you guys in any way... |
Sharon G. 23.08.2005 21:17 |
it's just my opinion. Alot of us older fans have a hard time with this Q+PR group. Like I said, it will be a great concert I'm sure. But for me, Not the Queen I know and love. Hope I am proved wrong........... |
Localboy80 24.08.2005 05:45 |
Sharon. G, I love the way you talk about you 'older' fans. By that, do you mean old as in age or old as in length of time you have been a Queen fan? I have been a Queen fan for over 21 years and I am quite young. I respect your opinion and I appreciate your admiration for Queen, your posts clearly state this. You come across as a passionate person but I really do think you are 'Freddie' fan and not a 'Queen' fan. How on earth can you say that Brian May and Roger Taylor are insulting Freddie and John with the Queen name, when John has given his blessing and Freddie, well, God rest his soul, cannot really have a say in the matter but I know he would be proud to see the Queen name carry on. I am sure if Freddie's own mother supports them, then I am sure Freddie would have to. This is not Queen as it was with Freddie Mercury, common sense will tell you that but this is still Queen to an extent as it is part of the original group. As we have seen for a long time on this forum, everybody has their own opinion but Sharon G. and BPP, you should both be happy and proud that Queen are reaching new fans and audiences. I know you are going to come back and say 'But it is not Queen' but what you have to realise, is that the new/young fans will already know about Freddie or at the very least, will discover Freddie, because of the tour and let's be fair, that is great! It is/was so nice to see so many young people in concert such as this, instead of going to Busted, Britney Spears, etc... One more thing, BPP keeps on about nobody will replace Freddie (which is very true) but he is all up for having Robbie Williams for the tour and then he will consider going. All because Robbie gets the crowd going and he has that cockiness about him like Freddie. Well, for a start, you have not been to any of the concerts, so you are in no position to say this. The music alone and the sight of seeing Brian and Roger is enough to get the crowd going. As for Robbie having that cockiness about him like Freddie, well, all I can say, is grow up. The huge different hear, is that Freddie could afford to be like that, as he could pull it off. Robbie thinks he something he is not and thinks he is way better that he rally is. In my opinion, Robbie has decent voice, puts out some decent tunes but is nothing more than a glorified cabaret sing. Paul Rodgers is old school and has a fantastic voice! You have to remember how difficult Queen songs are to perform but Paul Rodgers voice tackles them brilliantly! Better than Freddie? Don't be stupid but it proves he has an excellent voice with the renditions he gives. Robbie Williams would never be able to do this. Now let us finally end this silly debate, because if you do not like the tour, fair enough but you should be proud of Queen and happy that they are carrying on the legacy which involved the one and only, late, great Freddie Mercury! |

Why don't you just think of it as "Queen" the old group, and "Q+PR", the new group. These are totally different names, so you can think of these two groups as one that will never been seen live again, and one that is new and exciting. I love the old Queen as much as anyone, but I know that atleast Q+PR has a future. |
QUEENROCKS_1991 24.08.2005 07:21 |
Bryans Permed Poodles is not a true fan that name is a insult to brian may just grow up and go play with your rattle |
@ndy38 24.08.2005 07:35 |
He is a fan. A passionate fan, although you may think he has controversial views but he still obviously loves Queen. Just because he's dead against the tour does not mean he isn't a Queen fan. |
QUEENROCKS_1991 24.08.2005 07:40 |
LOL did you read all his post most of them are nasty so shut up and join poodle club |
@ndy38 24.08.2005 07:52 |
Queenrocks your post is so pathetic that i'm not even going to think of a comeback. I never said i was against the tour anyway. Yes BPP is deranged, a psyhco etc. but he is a still a Queen fan, even if he says terrible things about Brian and doesn't support the tour. I have a friend who is a Queen fan who absolutley detests and hates John Deacon, but he still loves Queen music and buys their albums, DVDs and other merchandise so he is considered to be a fan. Much like the scenario with BPP. |
QUEENROCKS_1991 24.08.2005 10:41 |
what ever lmao |
@ndy38 24.08.2005 10:59 |
Great argument. |

I went to see Queen and Pr this year in may 2005 at wembley I had a great time the show was bright and colourful Freddie was on the screen and it was wonderful Did you all see the show and what u thought of it huh great argument what you talking about ? there aint one here |
Tero 24.08.2005 14:33 |
QUEENROCKS_1991 wrote: huh great argument what you talking about ? there aint one hereWhat I guess the argument is (and what I was trying to sarcastically point out earlier) is that there are different types of fans. I've been personally told on the official Queen website that I can't be a real Queen fan if I don't like Brian's guitar solos, or if I don't fancy Roger. I've also read that you can't be a real fan unless you own all Queen (and solo) albums and listen to them exclusively. You seem to suggest that real Queen fans should unconditionally embrace QPR. I would say that anybody who's only interest in the band is collecting a hundred different version of GH, or getting their hands on every single existing bootleg recording is an obsessed nutcase instead of a real fan. What it comes down to is that there are different types of fans, and that's actually a good thing. It's good to have some different points of view from time to time. |
