no, not top 10 songs
what are your top 10 favorite artists?:
1. queen
2. the beatles
3. primus
4. pink floyd
5. abba
6. led zeppelin
7. elton john
8. styx
9. david bowie
10. kansas
I don't think I could compile a full top ten except that Queen would be #1 with Led Zeppelin very close behind. Other than that, The Who, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Sex Pistols, Foo Fighters, Rolling Stones, Guns 'N' Roses, The Beatles, Mozart, Beethoven, Howard Shore(he's a composer), Michael Kamen (him too), Jimi Hendrix, Styx, Greatful Dead, and more that I can't think of . . .
1. Queen
2. U2
3. Pink Floyd / Guns N' Roses
4. Kaiser Chiefs
5. Foo Fighters
6. Led Zeppelin / The Beatles
7. The Darkness
8. Damien Rice
9. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
10. Muse / Breaking Benjamin
I know, that's way over ten...:)
1. Queen(if Queen + Paul Rodgers is seperate, they would be number 2. Solo works would be shortly after.)
HUGE DROP
2. The Beatles(that's original)
3. Siousxie and the Banshees(The Creature)
4. Adam Ant(and the Ants)
5. U2
6. Led Zeppelin
7. Living Colour
8. Rufus Wainright(I would be so freaking happy to oneday go and see Queen + Rufus Wainright)
9. Duran Duran
10. Def Leppard
others would be: ELO, Whitesnake, Sheryl Crow, Garbage, Styx, Heart, Tom Petty, Rob Zombie, David Bowie, The Eels
I love this kind of poll because I can see what the other Queen fans like. Anyone who doesn't love Queen has a useless opinion of musical taste to me. I hope to get some good ideas for new shit.
I know I am obsessed but I honestly believe a best of 2-9 albums wouldn't compete with any of Queen's 15 albums except maybe The Works and Hot Space. I stress the maybe!
I like your list Groover, except for Rush. I love everything about that band except the vocals which I think are worst than any other voice on the planet. An analogy for Rush to me is like a woman who looks like Jessica Alba except that she has a Tom Selleck Mustache or the movie Be Cool(perfect cast, great book, total idiot director).
Speaking of Rush, I always admitted that Neil Pert(however it's spelled) was the greatest drummer until I saw Roger Taylor on this tour.

Well, even if you're obsessed, you're not alone. I pretty much think just the same way. To me, there's nothing better than Queen, Queen + PR and their solo works. And Hot Space and the Works rock too!

That's a pretty shallow view of people who don't connect with Queen. I can only hope you mature out of that view some day.

Even lately? Geddy's voice hasn't been high since 1981. Have you ever listened to Rush material from the Signals album onward?
Speaking of Rush, I always admitted that Neil Pert(however it's spelled) was the greatest drummer until I saw Roger Taylor on this tour.
You're kidding me, right? Roger is better than Peart? Roger is nowhere near Peart! Honestly, could you see Roger playing Jacob's Ladder or La Villa Strangiato? Roger has never once played in a time signature aside from 3/4 or 4/4.
1. Queen
2. Live
and the rest of my favourites in no particular order:
George Michael
Robbie Williams
Tarkan
Nek
Linkin Park
Falco
Die Ärzte
Die Toten Hosen
Lara Fabian
And many others that I like to listen to from time to time...
