Particularly, the ones who hate Queen. I've been a fan of the band for nearly 30 years, and back in the late 70's, people said the same stuff they are saying today. "They try to hard to be something their not" "If I wanted to hear classical music, i'll listen to Mozart"
I've always thought that Pink Floyd were most interesting, and at their best when they were in the experimental stage. Queen had been in the experimental stage for their whole career. They were always trying something different with every new studio release. Yet, they made the music their own by revolving it around Brian's "Red Special". Their talent for composing only took a hiatis to pump out the rarity of a pop hit.
Never had I ever heard a critic say that they had no talent. My guess is that these people don't know what to say about a rock band that doesn't fit into the Rolling Blows model. I personally find it amazing that these guys are still going strong, pumping out the same crap that they've been playing for 40 years.

Ugh, whatever...I like the music, that's enough for me. I don't care about anyone else's opinion but mine, and I especially don't need a critic's review of an album to validate whether it's quality or not!
