I see that Queen have won Top Gear's 'best driving song' for Don't stop me now, even had Roger Taylor accepting the award as well.
Surprised it won actually, was up with Radar Love and Born to be wild!
Always nice to see Queen recognized, but I'm a bit surprised, actually, that this one beat out "Born to be Wild" and "Radar Love." I'm much more likely to put the top down, crank the stereo up way past 11, get out onto the freeway or on the 101 north of Malibu, and flagrantly violate the speed limit to "Born to be Wild" than I am to "Don't Stop Me Now." "Radar Love" and "Hot Rod Lincoln" too.
(at 120 mph) "Buddy! How do you get this thing out of second gear?" ;-)
You might be able to find a copy of the show here: link
Check over the next few days. I also missed it. And even though I don't watch the show, I did last week just to see what my mate was on about. Enjoyable and funny show, that's for damned sure!
Peace,
Adam.
Hmmm...I never have ended up liking "Don't Stop Me Now" for some reason but I'm still trying :)
2nd for "Dead On Time" here :) Or FBG. Actually "Jazz" is the best CD for the car IMHO..."If You Can't Beat Them" is good for driving too....

i think you'll find that Brian wrote Don't Stop Me Now...or at least he will soon claim he did - and freddie only contributed a bit of piano ;-)
thats a load of pure bull
one, why would they credit it to freddie if brian wrote it and two, it just sounds like a freddie song
unless you were being sarcastic, its kinda hard to tell when you cant hear the tone of voice you say it in
