Hey everyone,
Over the past few years I've purchased a few Queen related items which have supposedly been signed by the band. I've emailed pictures to Jackie and she has said they are all genuine. BUT I have heard that she can't tell the different between Mick Jagger and Freddies autographs so if possible I would really appreciate it if someone could give me their honest views on how genuine these are!
Sorry if the pics are slightly blurred but they were the best I could take.
John link
Freddie link
Brian link
Freddie again link
Ok cheers guys,
Scott
I'm by no means any kind of expert, but I'd say only the Brian one might be genuine.
The first Fred looks utterly fake, like it was done by a 10 year-old. You can see that it's been written slowly, with caution, as a shite forger would do, carefully trying to copy something they're looking at, rather than quickly and fluidly, as Fred would have done it, being as he was entirely comfortable with signing his own name.
The John one just doesn't look right.
The second Fred one is signed on a poster of the Live At Wembley 86 cover-shot isn't it? Did that kind of stuff exist prior to the album release? Cos if it didn't...
Well unless John Deacon was drunk and crosseyed
And Freddie was cold as hell and was shaking
And Brian forget to spell his name properly
And Freddie came back to life in 1992 to sign a poster
Then maybe.... just maybe they are real
lol fantastic reply!
Brilliant thanks for letting me know everyone. The actually wembley pic is like a photograph(ish) sized one but if the pic wasn't released till 92 that kind of says it all really lol.
Cheers guys,
Scott

Couldn't agree more.
On the first autograph ''Freddie'' wrote kisses or sth like that,so,from the handwriting u can understand write away that this is not a Freddie autograph
''Brian's'' autograph rings many bells that it is a fake one ect,ect......
i'd say that if yOU SAW freddie sign them in the flesh and it was after 1991 then they could well be fake ;-)

The last Freddie one looks real and the Brian one sort of does, but the rest are, I don't know. Its not like they can all sign the same way every time so I don't know the truth of these signatures. But, some of these were probably signed standing up or at a weird angle, especially when there are tons of fans making you be quick.

Who says it was from 1992?

Because it was released around 1990 and also I dont exactly think you can shout "Come Out and Sign Something Fucker" to Freddie 1990 or 1991. Freddie hardly wanted to be seen by anyone like he did. Therefore concluding that it is fake would you like more proof?
The Freddie ones are FAKE. First one is too shakey and the second one looks almost identical to: link
This one just SCREAMS forgery. Next time, I suggest getting your autographs in person. Harder to do than order them offline - but you KNOW they'd be genuine.
You've been had, my friend.

But anyway Freddie signed a lot of stuff in 1990/91. EMI or Fan Club sent various items to the band and they have signed it.

It does not look identical to it. Look at the d's.
