I just listened to the Montreal '78 concert for the first time.
I find it so ironic that the Montreal '81 show was so damned good and yet the '78 show was by far the worst Queen concert I have heard yet.
They blew that night :(
It's pretty damned entertaining to hear Queen at it's worst after hearing so many legendary shows. Their vocals were poor, their rhythm was off and they butchered several songs badly. I guess even mighty Queen has their off nights(or at least one).
Bad Brighton Rock, Bad Spread Your Wings, HORRIBLE Dreamer's Ball... Just a weak all around performance. I'm not very fond of my Japan video concerts but this show was much worse.
Everyone has their bad nights.

Budokan '79 is the worst I've heard. Can't say I've come across Montreal '78 yet. I suppose it's a bit different from '81..!
ARE YOU NUTS?????????? Quinn is absolutely CORRECT!!! I saw them a mbout 3 weeks before this bootleg was recorded and they were kind of raw because is was early on in the tour. But this show and the ones in Chicago and Toronto recorded within a few days of each other are great performances. They were finally hitting their srtide at this point in the tour.

Are you trying to be funny or something?
much as i thought..but i didn;t want to slaughter the guy!!! - thought DB sounded nice...and the arrangements of some of the songs were refreshing..as for bum notes...and out of tune stuff...has the 'thread starter' listened to much from HS and MAGIC tours....there's bum notes by the fucking bucketload in there
