I'm new to here, but wanted to see where everyone is going to be. Also very interested in the tailgate specs.
I'm in 9-B-12. Who else got a Platinum package, or am I the only crazy one?
You aren't the only crazy..;-) I don't think we have any specs on the tailgate, as yet..just talk of one. We're going to be in Section 7, row N, seats 1 & 2.
You have a gloss black Burns? Does it have the gold hardware? I saw a pic on ebay, and started drooling. I have the vintage red, and changed teh switches to white switches. The bridge is still wrong, but it looks better than the black switches.
We're going to get yelled at for hijacking the thread.
Painted my switches white. BHM 1142 doesn't have the Burns logo--it's a Brian May Guitars model, I've also got a higher serial number Burns London model, up in the fives, also vintage red. Gotta have one for the office!
From a design perspective, they're visually stunning. On the vintage red, the combination of the red/black/white binding and the chrome is a real winner. The gloss black with the gold hardware is definitely a fine-lookin' axe!
Don't even think it. We're gonna look like total dweebs if we bring these to the Meadowlands, plus, they'll get ripped off out of our cars while we're at the gig!

No, I have the chrome hardware. I don't like the gold hardware. The Gloss black & the chrome look awesome! I almost had the the green one but I hasitated too long & it was sold! I was more than a little pissed off!! I got the black becaure I WANTED the guitar. It would never have been an option for me. But once it arrived via Fed Ex & I opened it up, any doubts vanished. It looks beautiful. I am very pleased w/ it. But I do want a red & I WILL have me green one eventually!
Where did you order the white switches from? That is one thing I would like to change.
