I recently saw Magic - a kind of queen perform at one of the local theatres.
The opening track was A Kind Of Magic.
When the band ran out onto the stage, i could have died. The members were all well into their 50's except the bass player. I worried that they would ruin Queens amazing songs.
As it turns out, as musicians, vocalists and performers, they were all awesome.
It showed that playing Queen's songs for 20+ years had made them near perfect.
Getting to the point, aside the real Queen, what is the best tribute band that you have seen?

I also have seen Magic perform and personally wasnt too impressed. In my oppinion the best tribute band I have seen so far Is flash harry. I thought they were Pretty good, hearing a tribute band belt out all of those great numbers makes me very envious of anyone who has seen the real thing.
Mercury. If you can, try seeing them at a theatre venue as opposed to seeing them at some kind of festival or club because usually they have to strip down their setlist which can be a bit annoying. See them in full flight and you are transported back 20 years!
