Kayla, can you identify the reasons why you might be depressed? If so, then that'd make it easier for you to talk to a counselor and find how to solve the issues that seem to have driven you into depression.
It's really difficult to battle depression when you don't even know why you're depressed. Hope this is not the case for you.
Btw, it's great to see you here again. Hope talking to other Queenzoners might cheer you up.

Ahh Jeffy.....I think you and I both know we ARE chemical imbalances!! ;)
Kayla, if you've felt this way for a good amount of time you need to call your General Practioner and start there. He/She might refer you elsewhere but I doubt it. You might just be under a dark cloud right now and need a boost to get out of it. Your body is a machine and if it's low on something it needs to function properly then you owe it to yourself to get it fixed. Just call your Dr.'s office and tell them what's been going on. In the mean time..keep your chin up. We are all here for you!
:)

Don't be afraid to get professional help if your depression is persistent over a long period of time. Maybe even consider medication if a doctor recommends it.
I had several bouts of serious depression for over 2 years, but refused to consider medication. After I reluctantly agreed to try medication, it took over 7 months and three hospitalizations before I was stablized ... and I have been fine for the last 16 years(although still on medication for manic depression ... it is much better than the alternative).
anway Kayla, I wish you luck ... and please do not suffer in silence for too long if your depression does not lift.
