I hate it when people are making money of from queenzone downloaded Queenstuff: link
I have uploaded it for free and for fun.
I hope that this guy can't make money with this DVD !!
"How do we know he downloaded them from here?
Im sure we are not the only ones with these shows"
We know it because he copied Marco's notes from the torrent announce message. This DVD was not freely available before Marco repaired the damaged vob file and re-encoded the files to DVD.
Also on ebay: the freely torrented incomplete Brixton DVD, the Fancourt TV broadcast and the 77 min Pesaro DVD that was freely shared on QZ.
If someone puts them onto DVD and sell them & if someone wants to buy them, fine.
I personally find the DVD a nicer format than having all this toss on my 'pooter. You pay for the convenience.
Shame the originator feels cheated, but what do you expect dealing in illegal goods?
That's a hornets nest!
I know the technicalities, but I'm sure the distribution of this material isn't exactly encouraged by those who paid for it to be created and dispersed.
I don't have problems with the fact that people are trading this kind of DVD's outside the torrent-system.
I don't have also problems with the fact that people sell DVD's on request for other people (with other words: selling for a blanc DVD price and posting costs)
I have problems with people who are selling this kind of DVD's and make lots of money out of it.
20 dollar (without postal costs) is a lot of money for 1 DVD (with reminding that this guy has downloaded it for free)
I think selling always opens up a lot of disscusion but i always say that without people selling we wouldnt get a lot of these shows.
Brixton 2005 was only filmed by a dealer to resell and if we look at older shows Knebworth, Newcastle & Manchester 86 were all filmed by video dealers to make money so without these people a lot of shows we now own wouldnt exist.
I do understand what people say about selling stuff that is downloaded freely but i dont think there is anyway to stop people doing this.
