It sounds like the sequel of a C-Movie - for example 'Return Of The Killer Ants' or something like that :)
I am sure well paid marketing geniuses were employed to come up with this.
this title really suxass.
This is the worst title ever!!
Sorry to those who like it, but been a fan since The Works (21 years and counting), this new formation is not only awful but I see its more a business than a music motivated endeavour.
What do you think would be the best title for the studio album, if they ever make one...
"Son of the Champions"?
"Revenge of the Champions"?
"The Champions Strike Back"?
I actually quite like "Revenge of the Champions", especially since they've put their money where their mouths are and showed up all the early nay-saying critics. >cue Brian's Permed Poodle, Sharon G. and that guy who posted up the thread<
Half of the Champions beats none of the Champions, especially since one of the aforementioned Champions has been dead for 14 years.

I am looking forward to this album. Some of the Queen fans here are whining that Robbie "I am the UK equal to Justin Timberlake" Williams nor George "I got caught with my pants down by a LA cop" Michael are not playing with them. Paul Rodgers has always been respected in the US as a powerhouse rock singer with Free then Bad Company then The Firm(with Jimmy Page) then The Law(with ex-Faces/Who drummer Kenney Jones) and his own solo stuff. What I heard on samples I like. Rodgers does the rocking Queen stuff justice!

"Return Of The Champions" - The title is indeed naff and not something Freddie would have endorsed.
However my main problem with it is that it's not the return of the champions at all since half of them are not in this line-up. It's almost a lie.
It's not their worst title. Speaking about champions...how about such pretentious thing as "We Are The Champions Final Live In Japan" That even was not their last gig in Japan...that's real lie:) Freddie was still alive though...

Actually, I have an idea! Lightbulb! Brian LOVES making money right!
When they release the CD and DVD, he should do what Star Wars did, have the Wheaties company PAY HIM roylaties to put his face on the cereal box to cross promote ''Return Of The Champions''.
Plaster his mug on everything from pop tarts to Slurpees like Star Wars did, and everytime a box is sold with his face on the box, he hears the mighty sound of Ca-CHING!

Naff it may be, and you're entitled to your opinion, but I hardly think you can speak for what Freddie would or would not have endorsed. Freddie was party to some pretty tacky decisions, if I recall correctly.
