That'd be cool if it was.
I'm actually kinda surprised the tix are that much. I was guessing more in the $75 range rather than $127. I've only spent over $100 on two concerts before -- $100 for The Rolling Stones (and those were on the low end of the scale) and $130 for 2nd row seats for Kiss & Aerosmith. But I rationaled I was spending $65 for Kiss & $65 for Aerosmith, so that made me feel better!

How did you manage to get 2nd row seats to anything? Please..tell me your secret! ;-)
OK, here's the secret, and it hasn't failed me yet...and don't tell anyone else...LOL
Wait to get your tickets till right before the show.
A lot of brokers, radio stations, large businesses always buy basically the majority of the first 5-10 rows of big concerts the day they go on sale. When they can't get rid of 'em before the concert, these seats open up again. I found this out about 4-5 years ago and I've done this ever since. I'm not sure if I'm on to something or if it's just pure luck but so far since I've done this I've got 2nd row to Kiss/Aerosmith, 5th row to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, 10th row to Kiss (again), 6th row to Bad Company/Foreigner, and 8th row for Billy Joel/Elton John.
Plus you don't have to pay for all those stupid "convenience fees" that Ticketmaster charges when you order off their website. The only drawback is is that it can be a little nerve-wracking going to the venue about an hour before the show to get tix. Then your next bet is scalpers!
Better hope the scalpers don't buy up the first main rows before the fans can fairly buy them. Read this!

Brokers offering Cream tickets for NY
Rumor has it that Cream will announce shows in New York City very soon but some folks aren't waiting for the "official" word. Ticket brokers are already taking orders for Cream at Madison Square Garden on October 24th, 25th, and 26th. Pennsylvania-based Platinum Entertainment is offering "Premium Front Floor" seats for...
...$3,295,
...while the lowest price on the platinumentertainment.us Website is $450 for "Upper Level Behind Stage." Top4tickets.com, ticketsplus.com, and indemandtix.com also show tickets for those dates, but no prices are listed.
Cream fans have been slamming ticket brokers in general on the official cream2005.com message board, with a lot of people saying they don't appreciate that brokers can seemingly get the best seats and sell them at a ridiculous markup. Others, however, point out that in a free market, the laws of supply-and-demand dictate that a limited supply of a commodity - in this case, concert tickets - means those who have that commodity can demand a higher price than if the general public had equal access to the supply.
Before dealing with a broker, check the Better Business Bureau and other consumer-protection offices to make sure the ticket agent is reputable.

I thought that at first but after seeing the show across Europe from various locations within the arena's, nothing beats standing near the stage. I dunno, you just feel that you're more a part of the show. The standing for a few hours isn't too bad either.
Does anyone know about pre-sales info?
I understand radio stations and media will swipe a good amount of the good seats.......
I wouldn't mind row 27 :-)
People! This is a ROCK concert! Don't sit down on some damn balcony - stand in the first row and enjoy the gig! :)
Out of 8 Queen gigs this year I was sitting only once and I didn't enjoy the show even from half as compared to the other gigs.
Meadowlands tickets going on sale this Saturday (7/30) but Ticketmaster site says there is a pre-sale the day before, Friday, 7/29. Anyone know anything about that? Didn't get anything from Queenonline.com. Brianmay.com says he sent out info to members but it might not make it in time to take advantage of pre-sale. Last time seeing Queen WAS at the Meadowlands in '82, been waiting a long time for this! Thanks.

Wasn't there something about the fanclub sending letters to all members they can...?
It looks like QP has learned nothing from the European tour.

This is turning into a complete mess. I know it takes a lot of effort to run the Fan Club, but after months of rumors shouldn't they have been prepared for this?
