Brian stated in hyde park interview on Capital Gold that they are ready to annouce the NY and LA dates... impatiently waiting for these annoucements!!
Keep the radar screen on folks...knowledge is power to:
Book your time off
Make travel arrangements
Buy tickets- hopefully
etc. etc.
See you there!!!
The waiting is the hardest part. I am hoping they annouce very soon. Someone at my work just booked time off in October around the time we suspect the dates will be. If someone else books time then- It will be very unlikely I can get the time off.
<huge sigh>

Yeah but Brian also stated/promised some Scots dates... and we are impatiently waiting for these announcements as well. Oh and please, no catty comments about Scotland being 2 to 3 hours away from any of those dates in England, etc, as sometimes its not easy to travel especially when you have family to consider.

Would not think of a catty comment-it's not easy to make plans any way you look at it. I have to wonder if the NY and LA dates might be teaser to keep us quiet. Scotland has gotten the raw deal from QPR if you ask me. I have been to both Glasgow and Edinburgh to see RMT in 1999..unbleivaable that they can't find a venue

I live in the USA and both New York and Los Angeles are way too far for me. Even New York is 5-6 hours away for me, here in Maryland.
The farthest I ever drove was almost about 3and a half hours, ONCE for an Allman Brothers concert in 1995 to Philadelphia. I was so freaking tired from the drive, the traffic, (which was a nightmare), I could barely enjoy the show, and then I had to drive home, didn't get back to Maryland until the about 5:00am the next day.
I also spent about $50 alone in Tolls and gas just to Philly, round trip, and that was 10 years ago when gas and tolls were a pittance of what they are now.
Since then I won't drive more than an hour away.
Not worth it....
Only would go to those cities if I won like a trip with the concert included or something.
P.S. If you wonder why I always do the driving...I do NOT drink...so when I go with friends to concerts, I am always the designated driver..which I prefer cuz I sure as hell am NOT letting them drive after drinking all night.

Well, I had a 3 hour drive to see the 1999/2000 New Years Eve show with Metallica, Ted Nugent, and Kid Rock at the Pontiac Silverdome, which is in the northern suburbs of Detroit......but the drive SHOULD have taken me only an hour maybe...cus I live in the southern suburbs of Detroit! Once I got within about a mile or two of the stadium, traffic going off the freeway was just at a freakin STANDSTILL! (theres really only one or two ways to get there) I had figured leaving 2 hours early would give me plenty of time, but I ended up being an hour late, missing the opening act (Sevendust), and getting in when Kid Rock's set had already begun! It was worth all the hassle, though, as the show was simply awesome!
