I didn't know this was to be on tonight but as I was driving home I heard it on this station. I'm on the stations' website but I can't find anything on it yet that says what interview it is or if it's to promote the upcoming Queen dates in the States. Here is the link, let me know if you all can find anything. It's neat to listen to. link
Ok apparently this interview is called "Queen Throughout" by Jim Benson. Lester and I listend to it while it played on the station. He says he's heard it before so it's nothing to get excited about. However I did get a little tickled to hear it since we don't get any of these Queen highlights like this in the States!! Also we can not find anything on the site about the interview!!! The site sucks!
But I'm happy that I am listening to it for the first time!
:)
Hi Shay!!! I didn't know there was another poster on here that lived near Cincinnati besides Haystacks and I!
I don't think it is a new interview as Lester said he's heard it before. I'm sure someone will come forward with more accurate info on the interview soon.
:)
I think it may have been Off The Record for A Night At The Opera. Freddie was talking about 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and the other interviews sounded a lot older - there was doubtfully nothing new, and I don't even think it had anything to do with any potential upcoming shows or anything of that nature.
That is indeed a good question.
Currently, I'm extremely swamped at work, and I have barely had a chance to breathe. I'm able to post little one-liners, as is my wont, but not come up with full-scale reviews and discussions. Hopefully I'll be able to start that up again, as I too find them interesting (but not as interesting as your Ultimate Collections - the day you start those up again will indeed be the day that Queenzone is brought back up to its former standards of excellence), and as I'm going away on vacation again on Wednesday, I'll try to get one started again tomorrow.
And how'd your surgery go? I take it all is well, considering you're posting again, albeit one-handed!

Lester, you are correct! I e-mailed the station manager at the FOX last night and asked what the show was and if they planned on airing it again anytime soon. Here's his e-mail reply I got this morning:
"The program is "Off the Record Classic". It's produced by WestWood One and hosted by "Uncle Joe Benson".We air it Sunday nights at 11p. A new
artist is featured in each show. Don't know if (or when) the Queen show will be repeated. You might trying Googling the show title, producer or
host to see if the program might be available via the internet. Hope this helps. Thanks for listening!"

Whatever happened to your album reviews? I enjoyed Queen... When Queen II?
I know, I know, but I'm still only one-handed!
