I have seen Kings Of Queen at Newmarket Racecourse. My dad took me there as a surprise for my 14th birthday and I got Sheer Heart Attack from my sister.
Have any of you seen any Queen tribute bands
LMK (Let Me Know)
I have seen Magic about 10 times now there where good would recommend them. When to seen Gary Mullen (the guy who won stars in their eyes) he was ok but not brilliant and i went to see GAGA the other week and they where a disappointment people say they the best but i didn’t think much of them really

Ah, the band "It's A Kinda Magic"...
Don't waste your money. The Freddie is fantastic, but the rest of the band, although they are great musicians, sound nothing like Queen. I'd pay $30 to see them again, but not 70.
link <- great argentinian queen cover band
i think i've seen something like 8 tribute bands here in argentina in the past 5 years, around 30...40 times...wow...it´s too much...(or not...?)
- Dios salve a la reina (translating: god save the queen) will be soon in england, more info in that page
the Kinda Magic band you lot are on about are playing in Sydney this saturday (16th July) at Darling Harbour i believe...FOR FREE!!! i would go, but i won't be here, so yeah. and it's free! it starts at 8 (i think, but dont quote me on that)
I've seen AKOM, they were quite good and it was a lot of fun but it always bugs me that the only one they put any effort into is Freddie. The Freddies usually look like him and have the actions down (singing quality varies) and the Brians usually have some kind of fright wig and Red Special and that's it. When I went their John was big and fat and had a ponytail and i forget what their Roger looked like although he did have his Magic Tour jail-striped top. A little detail goes a long way.
I have seen Rivendale when I was in Buenos Aires, Aregntina.
I thought they were great, it was my first time hearing these songs live, besides the one my cousions cover bands cover some times.
I have seen Killer Queen and they where really good...i had a good night anyway...and they cant be that bad because they tour the world..:)
I love queen hehe
I saw Magic - a kind of queen about a year ago. They were all technically flawless in their instrumental and vocal performances. To perform the vocal harmonies LIVE, that they did was unbelieveable. Great covers of Bohemian Rhapsody, Innuendo, Days of our lives, breakthru and radio ga ga.
10 out of 10!!
