Hi,
Just been sorting out my VHS tapes to transfer to dvd & have come across an old tape that i put together in '91/'92.
The first programme is from the night Freddie died (the BBC tribute with an intrdution from Elton John) the second is a brief clip of Freddies funeral, Then after that, there is a 19 min show called Pop goes summer which features music & interviews with Brian.
All programmes are perfect quality (for VHS) with HI-FI stereo sound.
I think the first 2 may be fairly comman among collectors (i may be wrong), but the pop goes summer, i've never heard mentioned...Any help appreciated :-)
Thanx,
Mark.
Yes and no.
From my experience, those things are not commonly shared due to lack of demand. Seems more Queen fans want music and concert stuff than some boring ol' interview.
Pop Goes Summer is out there, assuming it's 19 minutes of Brian being interviewed in Buenos Aires intermixed with music videos. Same goes for the Elton-hosted BBC special. But the brief clip of Freddie's funeral is too vague a description to be sure. It probably is out there, but I'd need more details.
The Freddie funeral clip is from the UK News at ten programme, showing Brian,Anita,John,Elton & Freddies parents and also the hearse carrying Freddie..The clip is only very brief (30 seconds)
