Hi everyone, Life is slowly going back to normal for me here back in the UK. I had the most amazing time in Cologne and I loved meeting you all. The show was out of this world for me. Being my first show, I was not so sure what to expect, and I am not ashamed to say that I did not have any hope of being impressed, but from the very first chord of tie your mother down, I was in heaven!! It was the single greatest experience of my life and it took me all of the next day just to calm down!! Thanks to everyone for being to kind and easy to get along with, I hope that we can keep in touch. Grahame, it was good to have you and we sure stay in touch. Hopefully you recovered from all the sightseeing and strange food:) The preshow and aftershow meetings were pure fun and it was a miracle we all came home safely (at 3:00 AM). Maybe you all want to know that knebworth, Miklos and Istvan, who flew out to London on Thursday morning are all safe. Jeroen, I'll be with you in my mind tomorrow, if it had been today I would have come! Maybe you guys change your mind about filming, that would be great, lol. |

helo grahame, thks for the pics they where lovely... I've got a few of them aswell. link This must be the link. They are all the queen pics. Some bad quality once I have deleted. exept the first few are from past Rock in Rio85 it's not that good quality and some pict got strangly out of it all. Scan problem. The pictures on the bottom are grahames, only the once with the date on it are mine. There are some pictures of the next day at the Hyatt Hotel. To everyone there it was a lovely time. I enjoyed it a lot. For Docksoup I think: The Rock in Rio ticket is with my uncle in Brasil, the concert was in the barra de Tijuca (stadium) and Iron maidon (they performed the 11 january, queen was the 12 january)on the bill, like was AC/DC, Rod Steward, White Snake and some local singers like al Jarreau & Benson. We are not quite sure but my uncle believes there was also James Taylor and than a pregnant female singer, which is on the pic here too. He remembered there where some fights at a certain moment within the Queen performence (don't know why). The one I believed was in Hammersmith is indeed not Hammersmith, but actualy it was not England neither it was Ireland. The 5 July 86 in Slane Castle. He is going to check out with some cousin to see if she took pics at the time. It is going to take some time as my gran-father lives still in Hammersmith (England) and there are still some communication problem with tel lines. Other Question. Does anyone know the e-mail of the Italian guy, I by accidently deleted it from my phone book. |

Thanks to you, Grahame! :-) I'm just returned home and I can tell that all was really great! Hello darlings ;-) I'm sorry it took a while before I posted a bit more extensive... It's been a pretty full week, with our last show in Arnhem as well. We were so sad after the show in Arnhem. An end to an amazing time and one of the greatest and memorable periods in my life. After numbers of shows and an almost equal number of meetings, I have to say that the day in Cologne truly was one of the greatest. I had a great time with some great people. And let's not forget the show and the atmosphere in the stadium. Even the rain could not stop me from enjoying one of the greatest days of my life. I will never forget the time we spend together. It was a true joy to meet all of you people =wether it was for the first or the tenth time= and I realy hope we will all meet again some time (make it quick! ;-) Lots of love to all of you, speak to you all soon inhere or in mail. If it had not been for all the nice people I met it would have been only half the fun. I never was disappointed when I met Queen fans anywhere on any occasion. I think we should arrange that big party for all the fans who met for the tour later this year - maybe on the Dutch convention in October :). |

Hello! Time for my bit... wanted to post earlier. Sorry. The 3 past months have been really surrealistic for me. In many ways. It felt so good being part of a Queen audience knowing and loving every little bit they played. But it also made me sad beacuse i realised that it probably won't happen again. It also made me realise how much i miss Freddie. Very mixed emotions. It was GREAT meeting all of you! Leo, Willy, Kim, Jeroen, Barb, Martin, Graham, Thorsten, Beeny, Jessica, Michelle, Basje and all the others i forget right now. After the Frankfurt concert i wished i had talked more with some of you. Luckily in Cologne we did! That was a great day...Maybe the best of the tour for me. Having a fantastic time with Leonardo, Wiliam, Jeroen and Kim was great! I hope we all meet again some day! Maybe at the Dutch convention indeed! Love, Dennis |

Hi to you great Jeroen and Dennis! :-) I really had the time of my life in this July begin... even now I'm in one of the many shitty period that I am usually that week was really one of the best of my life... How can I forget the moments spending with you on the queque singing tremendously loud? Or the moments at Jeroen home staying awake until 6? I will never forget all of this! Be ready for my "best moments" video! :-) I've just saw the pictures by Barbara and they are so moving... i tried so hard to be there i hate that it all fell apart with the downturn of a certain event and the likelyhood i as well as someone else will have a large bill to pay i decided to save money instead... really bummed about it too... i am however glad to hear everyone was able to catch up and have fun together! |
