I'm gonna have to strongly agree with Mandy. This message board has been almost political free since November, and it's been a hell of a relief to do so. What sickens me about politics is that each political side is trying to push more and more towards their side instead of calmly being able to discuss things and find points to agree on. I'm a moderate liberal, and I have to tell you guys that it's a pleasure to discuss political matters with a moderate conservative. Yet, when it comes to discussing things with an extremist, it's all bound to become a politically correct shithole. |

I am a strong opponent of Mr. Bush's and am in opposition to almost ALL of his policies. However, what good would his death bring? The same conservative agenda would be in place. The same policies. We'd still have troops in Iraq. All you'd accomplishing is the murdering of one conservative. That's all. Perhaps the only thing I agree with Mr. Bush on is the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, by the way (unlike most opponents of Bush who are quick to seize upon the Iraq war as their main criteria for hating him). |

Our papers talk about the few US soldiers who are killed every now and again, but never about the Iraqis. We're not interested in the hardships of them over here. It's not exciting enough. Gah, don't get me going on the media. |

What effect has Dubya had on South America anyway? Maybe the comparison of Bush and Dubya was a complement? After all, most of Hitler's minions relocated to South America. |

1st: Its better not having a life than having one and spending it adoring a brutal monster.Where did I state that I "adore" Bush? I would have wished a happy birthday to Kerry, as well - his is in December, however. I do believe Bush is a very good president, though I realize others do not agree. I will put up with "moron", "idiot", "bought out by corporations" and all that ga-ga, but "brutal monster"? That's just ridiculous. "Brutal monster" is people like Hitler, bin Laden, and... hmmm... Hussein. 2nd: How are you working to make this world a better place by kissing Bush's arse and letting the world know you think it tastes good?I have worked to further important causes such as denying parole for murderers (if you remember correctly), denying publicity for murderers, etc. 3rd: Alex doesn't have the habit to compare anyone he dislikes to Adolf Hitler. Actually I think he's comparing Bush and Hitler because both are heartless genocides.I believe a genocide is a thing, not a person. 4th: If these comparisons are that old, why haven't we found any best seller about it? Why haven't we found a BIG site about it?MoveOn.org controversy, anyone? 5th: Why should we trust a person who can't accept it when her topics are unsucessful and change their titles to porn-related stuff just to call people's attention? For me these kind of people are attention seekers and definitively need urgently a boyfriend/girlfriend, a pet and a social life.More like I have a sense of humor, unlike you ;) |

Anyway, a murderer is a person who kills another person. Just because Bush didn't get the weapon and killed the people with his own hands he can't be considered responsible for the deaths? If he didn't send his troops to Iraq, both Americans and Iraqis wouldn't die for nothing. I see no humanity on his actions.Music Man wrote: Thirdly, I highly doubt that your "destiny" has been affected by the actions of a few politicians. Also, I don't think Bush's birthday is being very heavily discussed anyway. And in no way should you assume the quality of a person's life by whom she decides to wish a happy birthday. How can you say that our destiny hasn't been affected? Sorry for the inconvenient question, but are you dumb or what? If your president/prime minister/king decides to raise the tolls for selling milk, for example, OF COURSE the sellers will raise the prices for the milk, you'll spend more money buying milk and will have less money to spend with other stuff. For very poor people, it will determinate if they'll be able to buy anything else to eat, if they'll be able to buy a gift for their children's birthday or not... If everybody thinks like YOU, the future will be VERY cruel to the whole human race! On your first point, yes it is normal. But think of the mental processes which are behind it. Why do people wish Hitler a happy birthday? It's merely a joke, to get a reaction from people. Do these people actually endorse Hitler's actions? No way, but most reasonable people would react to a "Happy Birthday, Hitler" with a "Hahaha." The end. You'll get the occasional person who is offended, but they are few and far between. Secondly, I am aware he used the term "murderer." I was assuming my readers would understand that a murderer is "one who commits murder," and would take it from there. As a politicain, Bush merely put into execution the will of the people. If you think that makes him a murderer, then fine. But in no way should his actions be conceived as unacceptable. If you are going to go extremist on me and say that anyone who condones war for any reason is a murderer, then I have no use arguing with you. I'm not even going to argue to what level my intelligence stands, for that is completely and gratuitously irrelevant. Okay, let me clarify my statement. In all likelihood, the destinies of the vast majority of all people and myself will not be critically altered B |

Chill out, Che. We're not here calling you names. So let's cut it with the insults, OK? Look I'm a liberal, and Bush is still far from being called evil, or as evil as Hitler.
