hey guys
i thought Bri and Rog were gonna send a messag thru sattelite.
I havent seen it yet adn there is nothing mentioned bout it on the set list privided on BBC site.
R they gonna do it or not?
yeah...it was even announced on Queen online that they are gonna send a message.sucha a shame. It could bring so many memories back from Live Aid if they had sent a message.
But the great thing bout these concerts that we should be rpoud of is that even thou Queen weremt there and Freddie is not among us anymore, but his spirit was everywhere.
you could see many performers were trying to steal freddie's trademark( ehooo part to MIcrophone stand) so that they could be as great as Freddie( huh...what a stupid idea)
I def missed Freddie there. I def missed Bri and Rog there. I think it could be amazing to have them there.Since this concert was being televised in US too, it could be a really good promotion for their tour in the US
been watching from Canada...no message played here (but I must admit I haven't watched the whole thing)...think it's cool though that Green Day played "We Are The Champions" - taking that song to a new legion of fans almost 30 years later...cool.....hope someone who was at Hyde Park saw the message...I wonder what happened to it...
I agree They did say they was gonna put Message there on the big Screen but nothing i sat in my chair for flippin 11 hours waiting to see if they would appear sadly not but in the end i enjoy the whole show
So come on Queen and paul rodger where was you ?
why didnt you all not appear at the show
1 day wont hurt for u all to be there or even send a message on sat system wouldnt hurt

The Concert ran well over time, so it might have been removed from the schedule.
Let me get this straight: you watched 11 hours of Live 8 just for a message that would have lasted for around 30 seconds.......Hmmm! At least you enjoyed the rest :-)
lol not really to watch 30 sec of message lol i thought it be nice to see their face appearing and the crowds cheering but never mind i enjoy watching them oldie bands very good

As Q-Nick said, it was probably bumped. Just 'cause they send a message doesn't mean it'll be played
i only saw only 15 minuts of live8 and it was'nt the same with out them. it felt that there was something missing. i saw more on the canandian station. it played more than the american station. god Bob geldolf has aged! IT WAS JUST NOT THE SAME WITHOUT QUEEN!
ALL I HEAR IS RADIO GA GA

They should have done that, they were the highlight of 85 and now they don't even show their message!
the satelite link was considered..i think.
but i also think that they were not going to cancel a show that was already scheduled months before live 8 was announced
