So it's not really a greatest hits then. |
Smitty 30.06.2005 16:45 |
Yeah, it's more of a large compilation of your favorite songs. |
Rompez 30.06.2005 17:16 |

sweden_man wrote: why couldn't it be a greatest hits? it has nothing but hits (except for disc 4)A song has to be released as a single to be a hit, right? Many of your selected songs were not released as singles :( |
Mr Drowse 01.07.2005 04:40 |
Let me correct myself: Some of the greatest hits you've listed were not released as singles. ;) Nice idea though. |

I hate GH cd's. |

What's the point of buying a compilation anyway? Just get all the albums they were on originally then you get those songs and more.(The obvious exception of course being the smile songs and stuff where there may not be original albums |

What we really need is another compilation, yes... Fuck the live DVDs, who cares about Box Sets- let's make 10CD compilation of the best of the rest- yes! And than Brian May=- "Ballads", Roger Taylor "Best Of..."... I "Dancing Queen"- the best Queen songs for the discoteque... Yeah, bring it on- more crappy compilations!!! |

Using the band's own 'if its not top 25, its not a hit' criteria, these were not hits: Love Of My Life Tie Your Mother Down Spread Your Wings Jealousy White Queen Back Chat Staying Power Calling All Girls Man On The Prowl Need Your Loving Tonight Mad The Swine See What A Fool I’ve Been A Human Body Soul Brother I Go Crazy Blurred Vision A Dozen Red Roses For My Darling Forever Dog With A Bone Chinese Torture Hang On In There Stealin’ Hijack My Heart Lost Opportunity Rock In Rio Blues Made in Heaven (Freddie) Living On My Own (Freddie) Love Me Like There’s No Tomorrow (Freddie) The Golden Boy (Freddie) How Can I Go On (Freddie) Future Management (Roger) Strange Frontier (Roger) Man On Fire (Roger) Shove It (Roger) Cowboys And Indians (Roger) Heaven For Everyone (Roger) Power To Love (Roger) Happiness (Roger) Foreign Sand (Roger) Pressure On (Roger) Surrender (Roger) Star Fleet (Brian) Last Horizon (Brian) Business (Brian) Why Don’t We Try Again (Brian) The Amazing Spiderman (Brian) Polar Bear (Smile) Earth (Smile) Your list is basically the same Greatest Hits collections with a lot of filler. |
