Strange. I think they use some kind of protection witch disables links. Anyway to see item use ebay search and enter keywords: Freddie Mercury 8mm film. I think it will work.
Yes it does, get your eyes tested.
I hope somebody points this to Freddie's family. They should buy it, not some fat Comic Guy like out of the Simpsons.
Yes, i think we should mail a link of this to Queenproductions or Brian to see what they can do. It's way too expensive for a collector, and it's not worth the price.
Take care
Yeah, that's definitely Freddie, eh? Interesting to see, but yes, two minutes for 4k is a little much, hmmm? I second the motion to contact QP about it. Heck, someone email Brian May this immediately!
Peace,
Adam.
4000 is of course to much for private person, but it's reasonable price for rich QP I think.
Does someone know how to contact them?
Brian might be to busy for digging in the tons of mail witch he get now.

You can send mail to Jacky Smith besides QOL and Brian...

Hey Barry, could you tell us what the email from QP or BM said if you are comfortable doing so? I wonder if they didn't know about it until someone told them it was on ebay?
Thanks!
Just a little bit of secret history.
Around September or October 2000, I was priviledged to attend a special cinema screening premier of the (then newly) rough cut version of the film - Freddie Mercury: The Untold Story - at the Odeon Cinema, Leicester Square, London - if I recall correctly.
Present at this event were representatives of Queen Productions ltd, (including Jim Beach), and members of the Bulsara family.
During the post-screening soiree, I especially asked Rudi Dolezal (one of the notorious Torpedo Twins) why this footage, along with audio Hectic recordings NOT included in the film?
Apart from his glib dismissal regarding the existence of such material, I got the distinct feeling that they were NOT prepared to do the little additional telephoning around to find the current owner, (regardless of the fact that I could provide a contact number), but more importantly, that for a multi-million pound organisation, they were NOT prepared to pay the few pounds (relatively speaking) for the asking price.
