Queen's ''These Are The Days Of Our Lives'' was played today Tuesday June 28, 2005 at 8:45 am United States EST on the USA TV morning talk program, ''The Today Show'' which is broadcast in the United States on the NBC TV Network.
The signature lyrics of the song, Queen and Freddie's sublime voice were heard as an introduction to an interview with Heather Mills McCartney (wife of Sir Paul McCartney) with Today Show Host Katie Couric.
The interview was to promote and to raise awareness and funds for Heather's selfless charity, ''No More Landmines'', to stop the use of landmines and to assist with medical attention for those injured by landmines.
To further raise awareness, Heather is portraying and acting in a guest character role for the NBC daytime TV soap opera ''Days Of Our Lives'', in which she portrays a fictional character based on herself. In episodes airing 6/29/2005 and 7/4/2005, Heather will appear. A clip was shown of her comforting and offering words of hope, help, and encouragement to a USA Marine who had lost his leg to a landmine, while she sat beside his bedside in his hospital room.
Heather also discussed Sir Paul McCartney's upcoming performance this Saturday July 2, 2005 at Live 8, at London's Hyde Park concert, and how both she and Sir Paul are both looking forward to it and that,''Hopefully, it (Live 8) will make a huge difference.''
I normally don't watch TV that time of the morning. I was doing laundry and had the TV on, and I heard TATDOOL and I did a double take and ran up to the TV to see what was going on.
Never, EVER heard that on USA TV..or USA radio. Nice for a change.

awwww man, I missed it. I remember on the news they played "He is Sam Champion" using the tune for "We are the Champions" Even though I like Sam I was upset about that. I remember on this forum this person was asking about "I want to break free"; he saw the commercial and he liked the song a lot...I wonder what he would think if he saw the video.
This comes on is it 1:00pm USA EST I think?
Did anyone wwatch the 1st episode today with Heather Mills McCartney in it, portraying a fictional character based on herself and her charity?
The next episode is 7/4/05.
