Any of ya heard of him?

Johnny Kennedy died in 2003. His skin 'fell off', don't know how. He was on TV, and he never went through puberty, so he always looked very young. His favorite band was Queen. I heard 'Don't Stop Me Now' on the TV, and I wondered what my mom was doin' watchin' somethin' about Queen. At his funeral, they played his favorite song, 'Don't Stop Me Now'. It continued through the credits.

I didn't see it but I read about it. He had this extremely unpleasant genetic disorder that meant that the lightest touch would cause his skin to blister and fall off. Not surprisingly, it's unbelievably painful and causes massive scarring.
Makes you wonder at those people that don't support genetic screening for people who are at risk...imagine having this baby and knowing that every time you pick it up you're making its skin blister.
I just watched it last night.. it was a real tear jerker... although you have to give him some credit, he did have a sense of humor..
my dad told me that they played a Queen song on it, something to do with 'in there, on there..' so I thought it was Hang on in there.... what a moron, there wasn't even a single 'in there' played... and then he said.. well they grunt and do a lot of Ohs and Ughs... so now I am baffled.. again, it was Dont Stop Me Now.. I mean come on, he has lived with a Queen Fan for 30 years, he should have known that song.. I played it enough.
Just watched this last night. I had never heard of that condition before watching the show. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain that he must have gone through.
He certainly had a sense of humor though.
