Richard Whiteley pops off.

Sir Archie 'Tiffany' Leach 26.06.2005 17:42	How will Yorkshire television ever recover as he was the only presenter they had? Rip old bean.
Penetration_Guru 26.06.2005 18:00	There comes a time when the Grim reaper comes to all of us and says "da-dum, da-dum, duddle-a-dah"
Mrs.Taylor 26.06.2005 18:14	Hope the ferrets don't bite up there!
Brimon 26.06.2005 18:32	That is sad. :( He was a shite presenter, but that was his appeal.
Adam Baboolal 26.06.2005 23:06	I was really shocked to hear about it as I didn't know he'd been ill. The last time I saw his face on tv was on Friday night during channel4's usual questions to celebs in the ad break. His line was that he just wanted to be remembered as the first face on channel4. Famous last words. Peace, Adam.
Mayboy 27.06.2005 06:14	Sad news indeed channel 4 will never be the same again :( RIP
Taylor-Mayed 27.06.2005 08:13	He was a bit of an Alan Partridge presenting-wise, but seemed like a pretty affable chap. Shame.
Flashman 27.06.2005 15:32	May I be the first to offer my shoulder to Carol Vorderman. And also my lap.
dragonzflame 28.06.2005 06:09	Trust you Flashy. I can remember spending long, cold winter afternoons at my grandmother's house in Lincolnshire watching Countdown. There wasn't much else to do.
brian_may_wannabe 28.06.2005 08:32	Now Richard Whiteley is gone, does that mean Countdown is gone also?
