Do any of you ladies like Hello Kitty merchandise? Recently I have started to quite like the Hello Kitty line of merchandise, especially the handbags.
Anyone else?
As a child of the 80s, I remember my sister having all those cutesy Hello Kitty merchandise, but I remember that the most popular ones were the stationery items.
Growing up in Hawaii I used to see that stuff every where, I mean everywhere
they have some candy that is hello kitty brand, clothing and what not...I could care less about it back then as I'm a male and didnt think girl toys were worth thinking about =)
Not really. I've never been one to go for that kind of stuff that everyone has unless it was genuinely functional, and I don't like paying money just for labels.
Dear Kitty,
Today I was stuck again on this horrible board. I mean 3 years with arguing people in one small room is horrible for a 15 year old girl. But having a new account on Queenzone is terryfying. The poo poo and pee pee flies arround my ears. And they even beg more than all the people of Amsterdam together.
Yours,
Anne
I remember Hello Kitty from when I was a kid.
Dunno if I actually *watched* it or not, but if I did, that would've been one of the earliest anime shows I'd have ever watched (way before I knew what anime was). If not, "Sailor Moon", which I watched with my sisters also when we were all little kids (and didn't know better), would hold that honour.
*Ahem... i had to do it*
hello kitty is what i say to my purty pussy......

Exactly! I remember a display at the grocery store we would go to when I was little, and it was filled with stationery type items. I had this super big pencil I kept for years that I bought there. I think I used it to keep my bedroom window open because it never wanted to open up all the way...that Hello Kitty pencil went to good use. :D
The Tower Records In Rockville, Maryland has the Hugest collection of Hello Kitty merchandise I have ever seen.
Also, did you know that singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb is a huge Hello Kitty fan?
Yep, there are quite a few famous people that collect tons of Hello Kitty stuff. Cameron Diaz, Hallie Berry, and Gwen Stefani are a few.
I think they are cute merchandise...and I plan to collect more. :^)
Actually, it's not cos of her. I owned Hello Kitty stuff many years ago and only recently has my interest increased into actually collecting. I've also loved handbags ever since I was a tiny tot. :^)
