What is it? A few questions........... 1. Is it a competition for Brazil to win every time? 2. Why is it the only teams I notice in it are Brazil, Argentina and France? 3. Is it a Sepp Blatter wank-fest? 4. Why aren't England, Wales, Scotland and the two Irelands involved? 5. What is the point? 6. Is it a under-21's or b-side competition? 7. Is anyone really interested? 8. I'd rather watch the Ashes, after all it is summer isn't it? Football tournements always happen in even number years right? |

All the continental champions may play this cup, include the organizer... So there's no France this year. |

I pray Argentina win's Riquelme has been quite awesome, shows how stupid Barcelona is with that Dutch coach, he don't know talent if it hit him in the head, I mean trying to get rid of Saviloa? wtf, he scored like 46 goals in 3 seasons. Be Nice if Argentina started the game with both Riquelme and Aimar on the pitch, sucks walter has to miss this next game due to yellow card limit. Yup, I'm an American and follow this, lol |

Podoski from Koln is playing great for Germany right now, Bravo for the German coach to play young players. That Dutch coach won the la Liga, becuase he had a team full of stars, Hell my Grandma could win La Liga with Barcelona too with Eto, Ronindinho, Xavi, Rafeal Marquez, Guily and Puyol. Have him coach say Mallorca, he would be fired after 2 months. Any coach who gives up stars who are willing to play for the team for chimp change is not the birghtest mind on the block. |

Well Brazil won 3-2 Julio Baptisa is a rising star "the Beast" he played ok for like the 10 min he was on, lol Now it's Argentina's turn to win. |

ARRRRRRREGTNINAAAAAA Argentina beat Brazil 3-1 in Buenos Aires like not even a month ago, so Brazil will have double the motivation now. |

Mexico lost :-( :'( but it wasn't without a good fight, Argentina didn't beat us easily , they really had to sweat I'm proud of the team, though we lost again in penalties, but we are rising we'll beat Germany :P |

Kinda sucks about Saviola, dunno why he did that kick, Reafeal Marquez is one of my favorites, sucked how he did that hard tackle on Aimar.if that's not a red card play, then i've been following the wrong sport.... and people in the stadium must be wrong too, after all, Coloccini was jeered everyone time he took the ball, and with reason, I guess 'Fair Play' is nothing to Argentinians, Saviola hits a Mexican without a ball after they took it away from him, Coloccini hits another guy with no ball (and he saw him, and he went with his elbows up, if it was no fault, then why even show a yellow card?!?!) , and I think Zanetti stepped on Borgetti when there was no ball too, but nothing, so I guess the Argentinian jersey has more weight with Fifa than Mexico, but we are getting used to that and we will play against the referees too now |

Yeah, the whole thing turned really nasty. Batista and Palermo both expelled for agression, the whole game being suspended and the whole situation out of the referees hands, then Boca's coach Benitez spitting Batista as he was taken out of the field by the police, and those two Boca fan who jumped the fenced and went to punch and kick Batista. I would have done the same thing he did, and I'm sure lots of people will, it's a human reaction to brace yourself before impact, esp in a sport where you have no body pads, If you watch the reply from all 4 sides you can see that boht players knew they were gonna hit each other running full blast like that, coloccini just put his arms up to protect himself, as you he put's them up to in a motion to block a punch in a way, every one thinks he put his arms out to hit, not to block I agree about Saviloa, dumb to do a spin kick, Also Refeal, who just did that foul becuase he seemed pissed, but not about Coloccini. Yea, I agree about that Boca thing, they are sore losers, Go River =-) |
