Seems like it's Tom's way or the highway.

24.06.2005 16:57 He takes himself way to serious, nice actor though
Lester Burnham
24.06.2005 16:59 Ugh. I liked it better when Tom kept his privacy instead of ramming his opinions masked as fact down America's throat.
Poor Katie Holmes.

24.06.2005 17:01 I would like to know when Tom Cruise got his medical degree.
*3*Playful as a pussycat
24.06.2005 18:50 i was listening to some interview with him last night...he sounds so full of himself...

24.06.2005 20:34 I think Tom Cruise is just made up to be a lot more than he really is. In most of his movies, all he has really done is be himself!
I dunno about crazy, but he sure is an arrogant something or other.

24.06.2005 22:04 i think little tommy cruise is going thru the "change" lol

25.06.2005 00:14 Looks like the only thing we can do is all convert to scientology - it's clearly the one true way etc.
He's Tom Cruise, so he MUST be right.

25.06.2005 04:27 well, he is a male cancer...
anyways, I respect him as an actor, and he's still damn cute... ^_^ I don't really care about what goes on in his pretty head as long as he keeps acting well.

2) He's pro-Bush
3) He decided to play the part in Mission: Impossible 2
Scientology ruins someone's personality, it is really dangerous.
Btw I like his movies, but as a person he seems not really sympathetic.

25.06.2005 09:47 This is definitely going to hurt Steven Spielberg and 'War Of The Worlds'.
The good thing is that this is the beginning of the end of Tom Cruise's career.

Could you or someone else elaborate on this statement?

I have to say that anyone who joins Scientology is already a moron before being part of it. They just didn't have anyone before who could exploit their very own stupidity.

25.06.2005 21:51 You'd be amazed at how many actors, musicians, etc, are members of GodHead... I mean Scientology.

25.06.2005 22:32 My sister mentioned today how odd it is that Tom is so big on showing his support for Scientology and how he is greatly endeavoring to get people interested in joining, yet every time anyone asks him questions about it he becomes incredibly defensive and expects no one to speak about it.

26.06.2005 01:41 That is weird. Surely a genuine religion makes any information available so that someone can make an informed choice about whether to follow it or not rather than relying on celebrities to spread the word (or not as the case may be) for it?

I spent too much time reading about Scientology last night. Seems one of the tenets as laid down by L. Ron Hubbard himself is to attack those that attack you. Don't try to reason with them, just shut them down. Besides being aggressive in defending their ''religion'' (which often means trying to draw parallels from their persecution to the treatment of Jews), they are highly litigious will sue anyone who defames or speaks negatively of them.
Charming folks, I think.

26.06.2005 21:59 Isn't Scientology one of those things where you learn 'mysteries' for which you have to pay a lot of money?
No wonder it appeals to the stupid people with too much money.

As far as I'm concerned Scientologists are supossed to give 10% of their income to their church.
They gotta be fuckin' stupid to do such a thing.
Maz
26.06.2005 23:51 Yeah, you pay for ''auditing'' sessions, which the last figure I saw was $150 an hour.
Supposedly, the level three Scientologist (or something to that effect) will have paid $360,000 for the privilege of higher awareness.

27.06.2005 09:01 I just listened on Howard Stern some clips of the Matt Lauer interview with Tom Cruise and it was hilarious. The guy has definitely gone cuckoo.
Everytime Matt Lauer asked him why he considered that psychiatrict and drugs didn't work, he'd go saying to Lauer didn't know the history of psychiatry, but when ever he was asked to prove why psychiatry didn't work, he'd avoid the question with something else.

Yes.
Nuff said.

- And isn't it rich to hear Tom say Matt knows nothing about psychiatry when Tom didn't even finish high school? Not to mention the fact that doctors have to go through years of studying before they can actually give out drugs.
