With all this talk of more tour dates and now it's confirmed they will tour the US, do you think Queen will make good on their word and play Scotland? I hope to hell they do, as I haven't got around to seeing them yet on the tour and I'd still love to see them at some point.
Michael
Isn't Scotland part of the UK? You got more concerts than any other country so far so what are the complaints about?
Queen played "only" in Prague, I think I should complain they didn't play in my home city.
I went to Scotland on the tour but only to pick up someone on the way from Bristol to Newcastle!! LOL!! Still hoping for that Scottish gig! Lets hope Brian keeps his word!
Still whinning about Queen not going to Scotland?
It takes a train trip of 2 or 3 hours to get to any of the closest venues to Scotland. There's going to be many Queen fans around the world who might not have the chance to see this tour because it would take an airplane trip to see them, and certainly many people won't be able to afford the concert tickets + hotel & expenses + airplane ticket.

I'll be flying several hundred miles to see the band in October. I should be so lucky as to hop on a train for 2 or 3 hours.
May:
Round trip airline ticket from DC to Manchester
Hotel
Train tickets to/from Newcastle and Birmingham
Gig ticket
July:
Round trip airline ticket from DC to London
Hotel
Gig ticket
Seeing the boys play live again: PRICELESS
Had the time of my life at the gigs in Newcastle, Manchester, and Birmingham. Great shows and a lot of great people there. I have high hopes for London's Hyde Park gig. I can't blame the folks from Scotland and other spots for being disappointed though. Fingers crossed on your behalf, and am hoping they'll be up your way and SOON!

Just checked your profile. Is that an egg? What's the story? There's gotta be a story!

ps: Aruba?
Yep. Aruba. Riskin' me life for Queen.
Re: the egg - if I recall, there was some weird charity thing in the UK a couple of years back where famous people were asked to decorate an egg for God knows what reason. Anyway, that one's Brian's egg. I thought it was fun.
Ray: Re: Aruba . . . (me too) What ticket area are you? Have you been there before? I haven't. Do you know that Peter Frampton is playing the festival there Friday night?

I'll be in the golden circle area. I haven't ever been there before. It looks beautiful on TV (behind all the TV reporters talking about the missing teenage girl). I didn't know Frampton was going to be there, although I only have a ticket for the Queen show.
Although Scotland is part of the U.K., none of the tour dates were close enough to Scotland. We're only asking for one gig in Edinburgh, Glasgow or St. Boswells!
Maybe 2 or 3.
The gigs will never be close enough to please everyone... I'm sure there are twelve year olds who would be unable to travel more than five miles to see them, but that doesn't mean they should play in every village with more than 1,000 inhabitants. :P
Heck I flew to the original Hyde Park show from North America and now will miss the rescheduled one...
Frampton playing in Aruba too, that would be good to see as I've seen him twice before too

I live in Bremen but went to the concert in Munich, which is at least 7.5 hours by train if you catch the fast and expensive one. And I am a student (no money). All you need is call someone who a friend of a friend of you knows, and ask for a bed and breakfast, saying the alcohol is from you. It works just perfectly.
Best wishes,

St Boswells!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aye, just down the road. good chippy there - the Scots View, i think it is.
Still, bit back on topic. Does anyone think that Brian will live up to 'his promise' and add a Scottish date, as he promised when the UK dates were finalised? It can't be that hard for them to nip up to the SECC or even an outdoor date (lets face it, they've got an audience to fill murrayfield or another scottish stadium) before nipping off to yankland?!
