It wasn't album, it wasn't single neither. It was extended play release, something like maxi-single - compilation of songs from different albums, therefore this track is on ADATR also.
If you need in details of release, check this: link
The tracks also came chronologically from Queen's albums 2 - 4:
GOOD OLD FASHIONED LOVER BOY - Day at the races
Death On Two Legs - night at the opera
Tenement Funster - sheer heart attack
White Queen - queen II
...and wasn't Tenement Funster a stand-alone version? Most disappointingly, the version on the mini CD Single, was merely a fade in / out, and a shoddy job at that!

This is the same version as used on the 1977 7" EP. The one on the Jap 3" box set is a genuine stand alone version, but can only be found on a SHA acetate (if I'm not mistaken).
Yeah, both White Queen and Tenement Funster, on both the original 7" EP and the UK mini-CD are not standalone versions, but just the album tracks edited/faded to sound as if they standalone.
I'm sure Adam Unger lists them as being standalone versions on his website.
