Remember I said I have NEVER, ever won anything, even $1?
Well, last week, I found a $5 note in a washing machine at the laundramat! And I DIDN'T have to SPEND money on a damn ticket!
I got put off the idea of big lottery wins by At Home With the Braithwaites. That said, I'd be pretty happy with a couple hundred thousand...enough to do some nice things with but not enough to fuck up your entire life.

I slept pretty much all day on saturday. I'm not sure why. It's not like me at all. I'm still really tired too, I'm just now up and moving around and it's 2pm!!!
Happy Father's Day to you Paul!!!
Wouldn't he get only half of that money after taxes, since the USA (or in this case, the IRA) is harsher than say Canada when it comes to taxing millionaires?
Probably but he'll get it back in some unusual case of a millionaire suing and what not.
Hey, when you have the greatest percentage of millionaires in the world youse gotta be tough, 'ey?
He did pay taxes and took the cash all at once payout of like $125 million.
Some nice change. :)
I would rather do that. No tax worries. You get it all at once instead of crappy like $30,000 yearly increments...when the lottery KNOWS most people can't live on $30,000 yearly BEFORE taxes.
This way you pay half to taxes all at once, no worries, and take the full amount left, in cash, and it's all yours.
