Dying, morbid thought, isn't it? Sorry. My family and friends have zero interest in Queen (what the heck is wrong with them?!) In my will I have a small list of things I want to go to this or that person, but my Queen collection has no designation. Books, vhs's, dvd's, photos, flag, miscellaneous. I know they wouldn't be interested in putting things on eBay and doing all of that shipping. I LOVE my Queen stuff and hate to think it would not have a good and loving home. I see on the BreakThru Convention (USA Cleveland, Ohio) website, they have an auction each year and give some of the money to charity (I don't think it is AIDS), but that's ok. Hmm, I need to think about this some more. The Show Must Go On. |

My children, when I have them, can divvy it up amongst them. Or have them sell it to a used record store. It won't matter to me, as I'll be dead. |

John Deacon or I'll take them with me and would play these great records in Hell or Heaven. |

I have no idea who will get my Queen collection. It's not very big yet anyway. I might have it sold and the money given to various charities. |
Janet 12.06.2005 12:22 |
I will leave it to my son. Its up to him to do what he wants with it. |

I'd probably give mine to my best friend. He's not really a Queen fan, but he likes them anyways, and he'd probably enjoy my collection more than any of my other good friends. Also, my queen stuff is obviously really important to me, so whoever I give it to is gonna know that they really matter, as I would only give it to someone I deem worthy. So even if he's not that much into the music, he'd still really appreciate it. |
Suigi 12.06.2005 13:43 |
Hmmm... I wonder if I could take my Zen Micro to the afterlife. But I'd definitely leave my collection either to my family, or place it online (if online still exists) once the copyrights run out so all could enjoy it. |

I plan on going out like a Viking, complete with a funeral pyre filled with my Queen collection, my shoes, and my favorite dog. |

Howsabout at my gravestone/memorial, a continuous loop of Queen tunes would be played. Or, better yet, that 20-minute long instrumental from Made in Heaven. ...that thing got a name? I just nickname it "For Freddie." |

My twin brother. He's a big fan as well. |

Who will get all my Queen stuff? Yeah, like I need to give THAT person (he shall remain nameless) yet another reason to want to kill me! ;-) I don't have all that much of it, but I do have a few cool items. I will also be exiting the stage in Viking mode, off the coast of my native California. I'll spare my dog though. There will be a big party, have lined up Van Halen and AC/DC to play the gig, and have inquiries in to see if Brian and Rog are willing to headline with Spike, Jamie, Danny, and +. Lots of fireworks. You guys are all invited, but please don't hasten my exit . . . Um, all's well with you, I hope, carboengine . . .? |

I bought him some "onesies" - those white, one-piece clothing items that snap at the shoulders and at the crotch. I took a colored photo of Freddie off of the net, the one from Wembley (same as the statue in Montreaux), decreased the size, printed it out on transfer paper, and ironed it onto a onesies. His parents rolled their eyes when they opened the package, but I think Baby Jack rather liked it! |
