Yeah, great actor, like in the elephant man. Got Mery Christmas Mr. Lawrence and The Man Who Fell From Earth on DVD. Acts bloody natural, brilliant, one of my favorites. I first didn't knew he could sing until I heared Under Pressure, must have been an exceptition from his acting carreer, like Jack Nicolson in Tommy. |

I like David Bowie a lot. Especially his late sixties, early seventies music. He did some incredible songwriting. Also a very good entertainer. Bowie rocks! |

WhiteRiot 10.06.2005 11:49 |
And that song was "UNder Pressure"...with Queen. |
doremi 10.06.2005 11:54 |
The things I LOVE by Bowie...(aside from doing "Under Pressure" with Queen) are Bowie's classics like "Heroes", "The Young Americans", and his movie soundtrack songs. I love the themes from "Cat People"-"Putting Out Fire", "Labyrinth"... he also is a FINE, understated dramatic stage & screen actor..who is as much a chamelion in his thespian shoes as his musician shoes, for movies like "The Man Who Fell To Earth", "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence", "Labyrinth"... ...but also HUGE acclaim for doing the lead role on the stage in "The Elephant Man". |

I LOVE David Bowie, I'm obsessed! I only really got into him over the past 2 years and hes amazing. Great songwriter, singer and performer. Has a great personality. I was surprised at how normal and down to earth he is when I saw recent interviews from the past few years. Hes great, not keen on the films I've seen though. |

Bowie starred I forget if it was BOTH London and New York's Broadway or just Broadway...but he won RAVE reviews and I believe even garnered a Tony Award nomination (The USA's Highest honor for theater/live stage acting) for "The Elephant Man". He is EXTREMELY versatile as not only a singer/musician, but a VERY serious accomplished actor..when he finds time to act, on both stage and screen. Sheesh! |

my bowie era that i like also fits best with my queen - and general music era i love his 70s stuff from hunky (excellent album) up to station to station last time i saw hime live was 22 years ago - serious nosebleed tour (that was his pet name for it) serious moonlight - great stage set, superb mix of greatest hits/new album (china girl, let's dance, modern love) and a great band - everyone on top form |

yep bowie is LEGEND. personally i dont think he has any weak stuff maybe the drum and bass stuff he got into but he even did that well. Absolutely no complaints here, infact im trying to find a period of his stuff i like the most i suppose its gotta be the early 70s but then again late 70s with young americans, boys, sound and vision! class! then the early 80s lets dance, china girl etc, brilliant! helppppppppppppp! |

Can't stand the cunt. he's talentless, musically void and so far up his own arse he can look out his own mouth. Thats just my own personal opinion mind you. fatty. |

From the '60s Space Odditty and "Love You Till Tuesday" in the seventies everything the '80s Let's Dance album. Him with Tin Machine was great. Black Tie White Noice Brilliant album. Hours, Reality and Seven. Bowie still rules man. |
