I see someone (coleman-skip )is selling the Manchester gig on ebay link I see they have already been selling the Brixton DVD as well. Another one trying to profit from generosity of others - hit them with email telling them exactly what you think! Lostockkid |

I'm beginning to think there may be only one solution to this. And I'm giving it serious thought. |

I can understand why alot of the seeders are pissed off, but I don't think stoppping seedign is the answer. After all if the concerts are freely available who is going to pay for the things? Common sense says that if you stop seeding you are purely playing into their hands as peopel are still going to want the stuff and will only be able to get it by paying. Unfortunately alot of the problems have arisen because many people are too protective of their bootlegs to share freely, take Houston 77 for example those that have it seem to ahve joined some secret society and won't part with it until the world freezes over. If concerts like this were made freely available to everyone there would be no market for chancers to sell it on ebay. Here endith the lesson. |
Brettles 08.06.2005 18:42 |
Two words... Fuck Off Do you think just because people are selling bootlegs on eBay, they are downloading them from Queenzone?? There are a lot more sources aswell as QZ u know... For example, how the fuck do you know they haven't gone to the trouble to record the concert themselves?? With modern technology these days, it isn't that hard! |
pirrakitas 08.06.2005 18:45 |
Before "peer to peer" software was available, I used to expend a fortune buying bootlegs, so restricted sharing will increase the bootleg market. As simple as that. By the way, a big thank you to all the people sharing concerts. |

no there not allowed to sell on eBay - but tell the thousands of people on eBay who are selling things illegaly or against eBays rules There's SHIT loads Again like I said in the other section - people obviously lead sad lives if there bothered about this - and I take it - NO MATES, NO KIDS - VERY SAD GET A LIFE |
lostockkid 09.06.2005 05:37 |
Traffic Zombie - I have mates and I have kids! It is the element of community these leeches are helping to destroy and the buyers from ebay who are unwitting parties to it. |
Nuno 09.06.2005 05:42 |
How can they be unwilling parties if they are buying them No one is forcing them to - I dont' totaly condone selling these things on eBay - but I have bought stuff off there (not Queen) as this is the ony way for me to get them No one is forcing me So buyers can't be unwilling |
Nuno 09.06.2005 05:46 |
sorry read it wrong unwitting |

Stopping to seed is far from being a solution. Report those bootleggers to the eBay administration or to QP if you will - and if QP take no action, why should we? Stopping the sharing will only increase their sales. Besides that, the community is benefitting a lot from the shared bootlegs. Don't stop a good thing going because of some idiots! To Begg: stop talking nonsense, darling! You wouldn't survive a month without requesting anything... :) |

The most clever thing to do is to send a mail to e-bay administrators with the auction reference. They will stop it right away (I already saw this in December). In principle, the guys are very reactive. Sending a mail to QP would take ages for action (if any), and the auction would be finished before anything is done. As far as Queenzone is concerned, there is limited risk (at least regarding this issue), since it is hard to prove, from a legal point of view, that a bootleg comes from QZ (digital data can be downloaded from everywhere !). |

Why don't we do this? I think E-bay must be informed of this situation as soon as possibile. Personally, I don't think too that QZ can be involved, or at least it would be very hard to prove! Let's do it! Cheers, L. |

You missed the point entirely. |

There are some examples of people doing just this. Cardiff was on ebay for a couple of days and there was only one source for that. |

Hello! I think that the problem is not share or not share, the problem is eBay! Some month ago I try to sell on eBay a collection of film that I buy with a newspaper. All the film comes in original artwork and are copyrighted by the author. I register my self to eBay and create the page... after 1 hour eBay send me an email where say: "Sorry, but your film are not legal and are cancelled by our system!" Now people sell bootlegs, no "bootleg" but home made creation, in many of that there's the slogan Japanese Version or Original Japan Bootlegs... I think the eBay rules are wrong! Sorry for my english! PS Many people buy concerts from this site link, many of this are official release, why this site is open since 7 or 8 years? |
richie moshpit 10.06.2005 14:18 |
One way to stop them is the sign up for an ebay account, bid on their items and 'buy' them, but then not pay and leave bad feedback for them |
Brettles 10.06.2005 14:22 |
Are you stupid richard moshpit, or do you just sound it? ...Does it not occur to you that the seller can also leave you negative feedback?? And also, by agreeing to 'buy' the item, you are entering into a legal contract with the buyer?? No... obviously you didn't... |
Rick 10.06.2005 14:33 |
What a cunt. I hate those stupid leeches. |
Brettles 10.06.2005 15:19 |
Fuck off rick... Are you saying that what I'm saying isn't correct? Because I think you'll find it is if you look in the eBay terms and conditions... |
Saint Jiub 10.06.2005 17:01 |
How can one have a legal contract when selling a bootleg CD-R? |
Brettles 10.06.2005 20:01 |
eBay rules still apply to the seller Rip Van Winkle... regardless of what they're selling... |
richie moshpit 10.06.2005 20:22 |
No I am not stupid, far from it.. it's been done before against that leech otbennett by somebody from here you sign up with a new username that you will never use again just to do it. negative feedback won't matter to you then will it? and legal shmegal... who's gonna sue your ass for not paying for a leeched cd or dvd |
Saint Jiub 10.06.2005 23:06 |
Amen Richie Oxymoron = legal contract + bootleg CD-R |
Maz 11.06.2005 00:22 |
To enter into a legal contract, you have to have clean hands. Ebay rules can't change that. |
richie moshpit 11.06.2005 12:12 |
Oxymoron = legal contract + bootleg CD-R Moron = Brettles :P |
