is it just me or have all the seeders gone on holiday? a number of people have said the same on msn to me, nothings moving! no seeders anywhere! im not beging here im just curious cos im in no hurry at the mo, well i am for New Jersey 82! Just a little thought here! |

Just to make a point about seeding and "leeching". Anyone who puts a bittorent file on these boards without expecting somebody to "leech" it, is stupid, naiive and a wanker! I am the other side of 40, know what it's like to be -25, king of the world, arrogance of youth call it what you like, but am totally amazed by the complete amount of total SHIT, WANKERS, SMARTARSES, CLEVER BASTARDS trying to go one better, total lack of respect, ignorance and overall disrespect on these boards. There should be a separate forum for "using the fuck word every other word", "Talking total bollocks" "smartarses" "wankers" "xenophobics" "negative arseholes" "bigots and homophobics" and lastly "Swearing attention seekers under 25". I'm not sterotyping young people under 25 but there is a lack of respect in todays society which is being reflected on these postings. Call me an old man if you like, not really bothered, but a good kicking might seem in order but people are more aware of their rights today. I'll stop ranting now and bugger off and go and talk to the grown-ups! I think I'm related to Paul Kersey the hero from the Death Wish Films!!! |

When I run out of seeders on a specific bittorrent, I simply ask for somebody to seed on the same thread, there's no need to fill up the board with nonsense like that. Begg, there's no need for you to talk in the name of the ppl you spoke to on msn. Let them ask for seeds if they need them and you go ak for seeds only when YOU need them... But maybe downloading one torrent at a time helps more. You know you can't always get what you want and that's pretty true for ppl with bad internet connections. You have to choose which shows you want and which shows aren't top priority... And I already told you last week to get yourself an account on the hub and get rid for ever of bittorrent problems. |

I must admit taylorbegg, you do seem to be top of the list for ANNOYING and SELFISH reseed requests(not for others as already mentioned). I tried to help you recently by advising you to dload less torrents (not 15 at once as you were doing... madness!). Why not try being less greedy or try trading for concerts for a change. I've used torrents for a long while now, far longer than this board began using them for uploading files and its always been the same, a lot of people close torrents after short times, but you have to expect that and put up with it. Some people's greed on this board gets really frustrating. Never satisfied by what is offered, they have to have more. I'm 26 now, been into Queen for 13 yrs, and it took me ages to build up my collection of bootlegs, but I enjoyed doing it. When I first came to this site years ago, back when there were many many concerts to listen to (possibly thanks to richard, I cant remember) it was fantastic, and it became a quest to buy/trade for enough material to get me into the Queen hub... it took me years may I add, but it was well worth it, made me appreciate the bootlegs or rarities I got at the time, and I could look forward to trades to arrive or when trade fairs came to my area. Now fans are being plagued with material and all they can do is moan because they cant get them fast enough, or that they are in a format they dont like, or that the uploader has wrongly described the quality, or that the seed has went offline for a bit. You dont know how lucky you have it that some people are willing to share. The majority of torrents on this board I already had, but I unlike you didnt have the luxury of dloading them, some of them I paid over £25 a piece at music fairs when I was younger, but I'm not complaining, I cherish them all and got real satisfaction saving every penny to purchase them. I still think its great that ppl are willing to share online though. Some torrents have a long life span, some short. Deal with it, or try trade for the material. Dont just jump to conclusions and judge those who have downloaded it, calling them leechers, you dont know that for certain. Most people do upload the 100% expected... plus some. So stop fucking moaning basically. (I'm over 25 so I think I'm allowed to share here, is that right? lol) |

well:- 1-im trying to finish these downloads so i do have less, but are all currently stuck on like 60 odd percetn adn have been fore a few cases three weeks! not moved one bit, 2-im only asking because i know if im strugglin for seeders lots of other people are to! so im doing it in the intrest of other fans aswell, if you have a problem with me asking for seeders for me and many other people downloading then fine! just seed them, let us finish these and i will STOP asking for a while, 3-i do try trading now and agin but many people i try trading with already have the stuff i have so a trade cannot be done! 4-ok so if im one of the most annoying then ok im sorry, but selfish?! im asking in the intrest of other fans and have uploaded a few things in the past and plenty on other queen sites! so if that is being selfish then im as selfish as it comes, but im not asking for owt more in fuuture cos it shows how selfish i am, and i will continue seeding what i have! just everyone else SHOULD ALSO SEED! New Jersey is showing as having a seed. For a torrent which was posted in October 2004 its lasted a long time! I think I'll see if I can get it ;-) |
