Brian May was down in South London on Monday putting the final touches to his guitar parts for his performance at 46664 Arctic.
Brian will be playing with his duduk playing friend Jivan Gasparyan. The pair with be performing one of Jivan tracks and possibly a Queen or Brian May solo track. They are to be back by the 46664 house band which includes Spike Edney and Jamie Moses who were recently out on the road with Brian as part of the Queen + Paul Rodgers European Tour.

Too flutey for him? What a name. I know what it is but it sounds so lame.
Is Roger going to 46664 Arctic? I thought BOTH Roger & Brian were involved collectively with all of Nelson Mandela's 46664 campaigns and concerts.
Sorry, but on one ever answered this. Since Roger is also so actively involved with Nelson Mandela's
46664 campaign, Why, did he decided to sit out the Arctic concert?
Just a theory:
For some reason they did not want this to be a Queen gig. If Roger was there, it would be Queen, so Roger was not involved.
This theory would only make sense (if any) if Paul Rodgers was not available and they did not want to perform without him in this period between tour dates.
Just thoughts of my own, with no basis whatsoever.
Cheers,

I think Roger actually had to rehearse for the upcoming SAS gig which isn't too far away, so maybe he and Brian didn't have time to sit down and rehearse for the gig. That, and Brian had to learn the Armenian scale for the music he was playing with Jivan, and on top of that, the songs were like 8-9 minutes long each, so I think that's why there wasn't enough time for Brian to have Roger rehearse with him for a song or two.
Brian even wrote that he now regrets not playing any of his own or Queen songs for the gig.
Oh well, that's all water under the bridge (pardon the pun, if you know what I mean)
Btw. I loved that duet Brian and Zucchero did together! They SHOULD record that in the studio!
