Hi folks,
I had to do a presentation for english a while ago, and I was free to choose any subject I wanted... so it'll be clear what I chose...
I made this presentation sort of a "Queen history" in short... first few albums, some hits... and "the end".... the sad part where Freddie dies....
And my teacher loved it!!
I wanted to share my presentation with you... so here it is.... I got a great note for it.... we get notes from 1 to 10 and 10 is the highest (of course) Guess what I got.... a 9!!!
I was really happy with that :D
so here is the link... if you want to read it... link
tell me what you think about it.... I'd like to know... :)
Not really bad english for a dutch person eh? ;)

It's VERY good!! I wish my English teacher would let me write about Queen!!
Thank you very much dear!
I hope your english teacher will let you tell about Queen one day..... who knows... you might turn your teacher into a fan ;)
I got 7/15 for an essay on Bohemian Rhapsody, here's a little snippet from it
"..This is the same case for the narrator i nthe song Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. The narrator has killed a man, 'Mama just killed a man', and has been executed for his crime, ' - I dont want to die' - and in the afterlife, a trial has taken place, 'Let him go / We will not let you go / Let me Go..!', and he is sent to hell, 'Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me'. This incident sparks outrage and anger, most likely to God, 'so you think you can stone me and spit in my eye / so you think you can love me an leave me to die?' However, he finally accepts what he has done, 'Nothing really matters / Anyone can see / nothing really matters to me / Any way the wind blows'.
Can you compare this to Robert Gray's poem "Diptych"? The simple answer is No. They are only joined together in similarity by their inclusion of conflict, and that the poet and narrator in each text accept their problems in the end"
