Having an RS is very impressive, John-boy.
Not knowing how to
a) Tune it
b) Switch the pickups on
c) Read the manual that comes with the Amp
d) Deal politely with people who are understandably surprised at your apparent inability to wipe your arse without asking someone how,
is less impressive, and explains why I think you're a WUM, and lots of other people think you're an imbecile.
I cannot conceive of a third option...

You havnt got a Red Special. There is only one. You've got a copy (if you do actually have one) and no one has said mef for about 10 years. That word was used when I was about 8.

Everyones point is he is being a tit. He asks the questions and then tries to ram it down everyones throat. Lets hear him play it. That would be more impressive.
Having played the guitar for 30 years and listened to Queen for most of them, this is a good question - the sound is atypical of the Red Special - my guess is that it's a Strat of Tele - why don't you ask BM.com - it's a good question
deeper&deeper - thanks for your kind words. Go through my posts on JK's threads and you'll see I actually post a fair bit of accurate response, dressed up in abuse.
Tuning, AOBTD tones, even Vox settings.
But ALL of this stuff I figured out for myself, without having to have my hand held.
Well, you know what surprises me... he never asked which end of the guitar cable goes into the guitar and which goes into the amp, I mean if you plug it in wrong the whole thing'll blow....
