the beatles "lucy in the sky with diamonds" queens "in the lap of the gods revisited"
and a suprise backwards riff at the end the first to geuess the mystery riff wins!
Nice combination, unfortunately.... quite bad quality... and it sounds cut in pieces....
But its a nice idea combining these 2 songs... keep going!
By the way... I think I know the "mystery riff"
It's under pressure!! And I even think it's the live version from wembley....
Am I right??? :D
Umm... thanks! :)
Did you actually intend to encode the MP3 at such a low quality, and in mono? The lowest you should use for acceptable medium quality is 128Kbps - but if you want near perfect, you have to go to at least 192Kbps, or preferably 256Kbps.
Also, if you try something like that again, I don't know what software you have available, but try cross fading, instead of 'cutting' at the edit points. It makes things a lot smoother, but takes some practise and time to get right. I might also have chosen two songs with similar tempos.
Hope that's not too harsh! It was certainly a nice concept, and I'm sure there is a perfect Beatles / Queen marriage out there somewhere, which you could be the first to find!
ok bad qulity next up is a song about a girl named penney lane who says let them eat cake(just like marie attonatte) and at a time an invitaion you can't decline and including the next mystery riff

Dont bother. If your last "mix" is anything to go by it will be crap. The nicest thing I can say about that mix is that it sounds like you were drunk when you done it. Sorry. Oh and btw.... its "Penny Lane" and "Marie Antoinette"

I don't know why you always insult people that has done remixes that you don't like,
You think I -always- insult people? First, it's called having an opinion. And if you look around, others do actually have the courage to say something other than 'ooh, I love that' etc. etc.
I'm glad I don't lie in any way about how I feel about these mixes. What an insult to the person making them, if you did!

...why won't you do own remixes??? It isn't so easy as you think.
Perhaps it's because it's not my thing. If you know anything about me, you'll know I've done mixes for my coursework. So, it's not something I can't do.
I didn't like this so-called remix and others didn't either. Why am I the one you have a little tif with? I'm one of the folk here along with Lord Fickle that can actually offer helpful opinions on others' mixes. People like him and I actually care enough to critique their tracks and give honest opinions.
You don't see me picking out people on this thread who said it was great and hassling them about their opinion!
Peace,
Adam.
